  • a not negligible advantage, deriving from the absence of rearward motion and of elastic return elements, is that the selection is maintained even in the event of temporary absence of electric, power, as well as a lower power consumption to energize the electromagnets, since it is possible, as mentioned, to only energize them while switching from one position to the other.
