Description

  • La présente invention est relative à un engin nautique servant d'embarcation pour promenade ou compétition en rivière, sur lac ou au bord de mer, mû par la force musculaire avec l'intermédiaire d'une pagaie.
  • On connaît déjà des engins de ce genre dénommés kayaks mais ils ont l'inconvénient de présenter un emplacement pour le pagaieur, qui se remplit souvent d'eau particulièrement en cas de chavirement et où le pagaieur peut rester coincé en cas de choc sur un rocher ou un arbre.
  • Il est connu entre autres par le brevet FR-A-2 525 482 un engin dénommé aquaplane consistant en un flotteur comportant sur sa face supérieure une empreinte formant siège et des empreintes pour l'emplacement des pieds et sur sa face inférieure une dérive saillante.
  • Dans cet engin il n'y a aucune protubérance, en plan ou en profil, par rapport au pont ou à la courbe générale du pont, lequel présente une surface concave creusée suivant une forme évoquant une baignoire, qui devient vite plus ou moins pleine et dans laquelle l'utilisateur doit évoluer.
  • Pour remédier à cet inconvénient et éviter l'accumulation d'eau comme dans une cuvette il a paru avantageux suivant l'invention de créer un engin nautique à la portée de tous, du type comportant sur sa face supérieure une empreinte formant siège et des empreintes pour l'emplacement des pieds, caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué par un élément monocellulaire fermé comportant une coque et un pont, ce dernier étant conformé avec au moins un creux servant de siège précédé d'un promontoir réalisant de part et d'autre un marchepied et au moins un pose-pied, la surface du creux servant de siège étant légèrement surélevée par rapport auxdits marchepieds, qui sont complètement dégagés vers l'extérieur de manière à permettre un écoulement aisé de l'eau.
  • Suivant l'invention encore l'engin nautique présente dans la partie arrière de la coque une dérive négative.
  • L'invention est décrite maintenant sur la base du dessin annexé, à titre d'exemple uniquement, montrant en :
    • Figure 1 une vue de profil d'un engin à pagaie suivant l'invention, et
    • Figure 2 une vue en plan par dessus de l'engin de la figure 1.
  • L'engin ou planche à pagaie représenté au dessin est constitué par un élément monocellulaire fermé comportant une coque 2 et un pont 1. Ce dernier présente, déporté un peu vers l'avant, un creux 3 servant de siège pour le pagaieur, ce creux étant précédé d'un promontoir 4. Un creux 3 supplémentaire peut être prévu pour un passager ou un second pagaieur.
  • Le promontoir 4 réalisé dans le pont est conformé de telle manière qu'il donne naissance, de chaque côté, à un marchepied 5 et à un pose-pied 6.
  • Sur le promontoir 4 sont prévues des surfaces d'adhérence, au sommet en 7 pour permettre à un passager de s'y asseoir et sur les côtés en 8 pour faciliter la prise et le port de l'engin.
  • L'envers de l'élément ou coque 2 est conformé avec une dérive négative 9 pour empêcher le dérapage. Cette dérive négative peut s'élargir et transformer la coque simple en double coque augmentant la stabilité de l'engin.
  • Un engin conforme à l'invention peut avantageusement avoir comme dimensions une longueur de 2 m à 4 m 50 et une largeur de 0,5 m à 1 m.
  • Cet engin est caréné pour glisser ou pour fendre l'eau en fonction de l'objectif et le pagaieur peut être à genoux sur les marchepieds 5 ou assis dans le creux 3 avec ses pieds sur les pose- pieds 6 pour diriger l'engin. Il est possible de munir l'engin de sangles pour les pieds et le bassin en cas de gros temps ou de grosses eaux.
  • Un tel engin peut constituer une embarcation sportive et de compétition, une embarcation de tout repos comme un pédalo mais aussi un transport de choses en régions marécageuses.

Claims (4)

1. Engin à propulser par pagaie, du type comportant sur sa face supérieure une empreinte formant siège et des empreintes pour l'emplacement des pieds, caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué par un élément monocellulaire fermé comportant une coque (2) et un pont (1), ce dernier étant conformé avec au moins un creux (3) servant de siège précédé d'un promontoir (4) réalisant de part et d'autre un marchepied (5) et au moins un pose-pied (6), la surface du creux (3) servant de siège étant légèrement surélevée par rapport auxdits marchepieds (5), qui sont complètement dégagés vers l'extérieur de manière à permettre un écoulement aisé de l'eau.
2. Engin nautique suivant la revendication 1, dans lequel la coque (2) présente dans sa partie arrière une dérive négative (9).
3. Engin nautique suivant la revendication 1, dans lequel la coque (2) présente une dérive négative (9) s'étendant vers l'arrière en s'élargissant jusqu'à former une double coque.
4. Engin nautique suivant la revendication 1, dans lequel le promontoir (4) comporte des surfaces d'adhérence, au sommet (en 7) pour servir de siège pour un passager et sur les côtés (en 8) pour faciliter le port de l'engin.
