Description
- La présente invention est relative à une chaussure de sports ou de loisirs à tige haute, du type de celle communément appelée chaussure de basket-ball et utilisée notamment pour la pratique de ce sport.
- Les conditions de la pratique du basket-ball soumettent les chevilles du joueur à des efforts violents, dûs notamment aux nombreux mouvements en extension, suivis de contacts brutaux avec le sol, et aux nombreux démarrages pour le dribble ou la course suivis de phases d'arrêt brutales.
- Il est donc important de pouvoir disposer de chaussures qui permettent d'assurer une tenue suffisante du pied dans la zone de la cheville, tant au niveau de la malléole interne que de la malléole externe tout en assurant une protection, par un rembourrage approprié, contre les chocs directs.
- On a ainsi proposé des chaussures comportant des bandes de renfort et/ou de serrage s'étendant sensiblement horizontalement autour de la tige. Par exemple, le brevet US-A-4411 077 décrit une chaussure de sports comportant deux larges bandes qui s'étendent à l'extérieur de la chaussure et peuvent être fixées l'une sur l'autre en enserrant la cheville.
- Néanmoins, les chaussures ainsi réalisées n'assurent pas un maintien suffisant du pied et, dans la pratique, les joueurs continuent à utiliser des chevillères ou des bandes de maintien à l'intérieur de la chaussure.
- La présente invention se propose de fournir une chaussure permettant d'éviter l'utilisation d'accessoires tels que des chevillères et offrant de très bonnes propriétés de tenue et de serrage du pied dans la partie haute de la tige de la chaussure.
- La chaussure selon l'invention est du type dans lequel la partie haute de la tige est réalisée en matériau rembourré et des bandes de serrage sont fixées à l'extérieur de la chaussure en enserrant la cheville, d'après US-A-4411 077, ladite chaussure se caractérisant par le fait qu'elle comporte une zone en matériau de renfort sur la face extérieure de la chaussure sensiblement au niveau de la malléole externe, au moins une bande de serrage s'étendant depuis ladite zone de renfort, la bande de serrage comprenant une première branche remontant depuis ladite zone de renfort en biais le long de la face extérieure de la tige jusqu'au voisinage de l'extrémité supérieure de celle-ci à l'arrière de la chaussure, et se prolongeant sensiblement horizontalement le long de l'extrémité supérieure de la face intérieure de la tige au-dessus de la malléole interne, et une seconde branche remontant depuis ladite zone de renfort en biais au travers de la zone de fermeture frontale de la chaussure vers la face intérieure de la tige, et des moyens de liaison des deux branches de la bande sur la face intérieure de la tige pour immobiliser la bande dans une position de serrage définie.
- De préférence les moyens de liaison comprennent une boucle fixée à l'extrémité libre de la première branche sur la face intérieure de la tige de la chaussure, la seconde branche de la bande de serrage comportant sur sa face extérieure deux zones de matières complémentaires susceptibles d'adhérer l'une à l'autre sous l'effet d'une pression et pouvant se séparer sous l'effet d'une traction, ladite ladite seconde branche s'engageant dans ladite boucle puis étant repliée de manière à amener en contact mutuel pour la fermeture les deux zones en matières complémentaires.
- En d'autres termes dans le mode de réalisation, la seconde branche de la bande de serrage est munie de moyens de fermeture rapide du type connu sous la dénomination de "Velcro" (une marque déposée).
- Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, la chaussure comporte à la partie arrière de la tige des moyens de positionnement et de guidage de la première branche de la bande de serrage, lesdits moyens étant avantageusement réalisés sous la forme d'un passant disposé verticalement et dans lequel s'engage ladite première branche de la bande à l'arrière de la chaussure. Le passant peut être rapporté sur la face extérieure de la chaussure ou, dans une variante préférée, être obtenu par découpe du matériau constitutif de la face arrière de la tige.
- On comprend que la bande de serrage selon l'invention, en position ouverte de la chaussure, n'est fixée à celle-ci que dans la zone de renfort au niveau de la malléole externe, et de ce fait, lorsqu'on exerce sur l'extrémité libre de la seconde branche une traction puis on immobilise cette extrémité libre après liaison des deux branches, la bande fait un tour complet de la chaussure, et assure un serrage important du pied au niveau de la cheville, le matériau constitutif de la bande assurant en outre un effet de renfort. Les orientations de la bande, en biais sur la face extérieure de la tige et en biais au travers de la zone frontale de fermeture de la chaussure, se révélent à l'expérience particulièrement favorables à la résistance aux effort violents liés à la pratique du basket-ball.
- Le matériau de renfort constituant la zone sur la face extérieure de la tige à partir de laquelle s'étend la bande de serrage, ainsi que le matériau constitutif de la bande de serrage, peuvent être de tout type approprié, notamment du cuir naturel ou synthétique.
- Dans le but de mieux faire comprendre l'invention on va maintenant en décrire à titre d'exemple en aucune manière limitif un mode de réalisation en se référant au dessin annexé dans lequel:
- - la figure 1 est une vue en élévation d'une chaussure selon l'invention montrant le côté extérieur de celle-ci,
- - la figure 2 est une vue en élévation de la chaussure selon l'invention montrant le côté intérieur de celle-ci, - la figure 3 est une vue fragmentaire de la chaussure montrant la face intérieure de la tige avant serrage,
- - la figure 4 est une vue fragmentaire arrière de la chaussure,
- - la figure 5 est une vue fragmentaire de- dessus de la chaussure avant serrage,
- - la figure 6 est une vue fragmentaire frontale de la chaussure avant serrage, et
- - la figure 7 est une vue correspondant à la figure 6 après serrage.
- La chaussure selon l'invention, du type utilisé pour la pratique de basket-ball, comprend de manière conventionnelle une semelle 1, une empeigne désignée globalement par 2 et une tige haute désignée globalement par 3 et réalisée en matériau rembourrée.
- Dans la partie frontale de l'empeigne et de la tige est réalisée de manière conventionnelle, une zone de fermeture 4, la fermeture de la chaussure dans ce mode de réalisation étant assurée par des lacets, non représentés, s'engageant dans des oeillets 5 disposés de part et d'autre de l'ouverture frontale de la chaussure dans laquelle est montée de façon habituelle une languette 6.
- La chaussure selon l'invention comporte sur sa face extérieure, sensiblement au niveau de la malléole externe, une zone en matériau de renfort 7, notamment en cuir qui, dans le mode de réalisation illustré, présente des prolongements 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d sensiblement allignés deux-à-deux à partir de la partie centrale de la zone de renfort.
- Selon l'invention il est prévu une bande de serrage formée de deux branches 8 et 9, également réalisées en cuir.
- La branche 8 est fixée par une extrémité 8a au prolongement 7c de la zone de renfort 7, ou est réalisée d'un seul tenant avec lui. La branche 8 n'est ainsi fixée à la tige de la chaussure que par son extrémité 8a.
- Comme on le voit sur le dessin et notamment aux figures 2 et 3, l'extrémité opposée 8b de la branche 8 comporte une boucle 10. La branche 8 s'étend depuis la zone de renfort 7 en remontant en biais le long de la face extérieure de la tige, s'engage dans un passant 11 à la partie arrière de la tige, passant rapporté sur la tige ou formé en réalisant des découpes 12 dans le matériau constitutif de la paroi arrière de la tige, puis s'étend sur la face intérieure de la tige sensiblement parallèlement au bord supérieur de celle-ci, de manière que la boucle se trouve dans la partie avant de la face intérieure de la tige comme on le voit notamment sur les figures 2 et 3.
- La branche 9 de la boucle qui, comme on le voit notamment sur la figure 1, s'étend à partir du prolongement 7b de la zone de renfort, remonte, comme on la voit le mieux sur la figure 6, en biais au travers de la zone de fermeture 4 de le chaussure, s'engage dans la boucle 10 puis est rabattue sur elle-même comme on le voit le mieux sur la figure 7.
- Dans une variante non représentée, la branche 9 peut se prolonger sous la zone de renfort 7 jusque sous le prolongement 7a de celle-ci par une longueur de bande élastique.
- Pour assurer un blocage de la bande la branche 9 comporte sur sa face externe deux zones successives 13 et 14 en matières complémentaires susceptibles d'adhérer sous l'effet d'une pression.
- Ainsi, la zone 13 peut être constituée d'éléments analogues à des crochets et la zone 14 peut être réalisée en une matière analogue à du feutre.
- On comprend que, pour la mise en oeuvre de l'invention, après avoir fermé, notamment par laçage, la chaussure, il suffit d'exercer une traction sur l'extrémité libre de la branche 9 puis, après avoir atteint le degré de serrage voulu, rabattre cette extrémité libre sur la partie de la branche disposée en travers de la zone de fermeture de la chaussure pour immobiliser la bande dans la position de serrage voulue.
- En cours d'utilisation cette opération peut être répétée pour modifier le degré de serrage.
