Abstract

L'invention concerne un gréement destiné à la propul­ sion des voiliers constitué par un mât tournant (1) et une voile (7) entourant le mât et comportant deux pans (7b, 7c) s'éten­ dant à l'arrière du mât. La partie de voile (7a) située en avant du mât (1) repose sur une surface active définissant un bord d'attaque (3) sensiblement élliptique portée par ledit mât, tandis que chacun des pans (7b, 7c) est pourvu de lattes de raidissage, et est fixé à au moins une pluralité verticale de bômes (6) la surface active peut être placée dans l'une ou l'autre de deux positions symétriques par rapport au plan sensiblement vertical contenant les bômes (6), dans lesquel­ les le plan des bômes forme un anglee A avec le plan vertical de symétrie de ladite surface active.
L'invention trouve une application intéressante dans le domaine de la construction navale.
