- a roller door of the type described above in which the tensioning device for the curtain consists of conical rope pulleys fastened on the winding shaft on both sides of the winding tube and pulley-like traction elements which are prestressed with a tension spring.
- the tension springs are arranged between the pulleys of the pulley blocks and the foundation on both sides of the opening.
- a roller shutter is known, on the curtain of which a guide rope is attached on each side, which leads back to the winding shaft via deflection rollers and can be wound up and unwound spirally in the opposite winding direction, the respective winding diameters of the guide cables and the curtain being approximately the same size due to the conically shaped winding disks.
- This known roller shutter has no tensioning device to compensate for the difference in path of the curtain and the wound length of the guide cables on the winding disks. There is therefore a dependency between the diameter of the winding disks and the thickness of the curtain, so that the winding disks have to be adapted to the changing curtain thicknesses. In addition, changes in the length of the guide ropes and curtain cannot be compensated for by temperature fluctuations and wear.
