Claims (2)

1. Procédé de fabrication de surfaces de glissement, résistantes à l'usure, de cylindres de moteurs à combustion interne, qui sont créées sur des cylindres ou des chemises de cylindres qui sont réalisés en fonte alliée, notamment également en fonte pauvre en phosphore, au moyen des étapes opératoires suivantes:
a) usinage par enlèvement de copeaux de l'alésage de cylindre, dans la zone à durcir, jusqu'à un diamètre qui est inférieur au diamètre final désiré,
b) dépôt d'un agent d'absorption sur la paroi (2) de l'alésage de cylindre, cet agent ayant la propriété de réduire la réflexion d'une lumière laser à quelques pourcent,
c) durcissement de la paroi (2) de l'alésage de cylindre dans la zone à durcir au moyen de rayons laser de manière à produire des voies de durcissement (4) orientées parallèlement entre elles et en oblique par rapport à l'axe du cylindre, faisant avec ce dernier un angle aigu, et avec une structure martensitique dans la zone marginale de la fonte,
d) rodage de la paroi (2) de l'alésage de cylindre jusqu'au diamètre final pour obtenir la surface de glissement du cylindre,

caractérisé en ce que les voies de durcissement (4) font un angle compris entre environ 10° et 60° avec l'axe (3) du cylindre et deux voies de durcissement (4) adjacentes comportent entre elles un espacement de bords (X) qui est suffisamment grand pour que les maxima des contraintes de traction se produisant pendant la marche du moteur entre les voies et à une distance (K) du bord de voie de durcissement ne puissent pas coïncider et qu'ainsi le paramètre (X) soit supérieur à 2 - K.
2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que toutes les voies de durcissement (4) sont produties l'une après l'autre, en étant disposées parallèlement entre elles, au moyen d'un laser opérant selon le principe d'un intégrateur et créant dans les voies de durcissement (4) un profil de durcissement rectangulaire ayant une largeur constante et réglable et une profondeur de durcissement pouvant atteindre environ 1,3 millimètre.
