Abstract

Un faisceau (12) de membranes hydrophobes (18) composées de plastique hydrophobe contenant des micropores ayant un diamètre inférieur à 10 microns est traité avec un solvant organique contenant un agent tensioactif du type monoester pour recouvrir les micropores et permettre à un liquide aqueux de s'écouler facilement au travers des micropores. Les membranes recouvertes (18) ne sont pas toxiques et sont particulièrement compatibles avec le sang, présentant un taux d'hémolyse très bas.
