Definitions
- the invention relates to an electromagnetic relay with a tongue armature arranged within a coil former approximately along its axis, with its free end facing at least one opposing pole plate and with its fastening end fastened via a ferromagnetic carrier with a low spring deflection limit, the carrier in Area between the tongue anchor and its own attachment point on the coil former has a predetermined bending point in the form of torsion bars and is adjustable about this predetermined bending point by the action of an external magnetic field on a molded adjusting plate.
- Such a relay is described in DE-OS 27 23 219.
- This structure has the advantage that the ferromagnetic adjusting plate and with it the tongue anchor attached to the carrier can still be adjusted by the external magnetic field even when the relay is already closed in the housing and possibly also potted.
- the adjusting plate is arranged parallel to the anchor within the coil tube, so that its diameter must be designed somewhat larger than would be necessary for the tongue anchor alone. In the case of very small relays, however, efforts are made to make the winding diameter and thus also the coil tube as small as possible to save space.
- the object of the invention is therefore. To develop a relay of the type mentioned in such a way that on the one hand the Advantages of the magnetic adjustability are retained, but on the other hand a further reduction in the coil diameter is possible.
- this object is achieved in that the adjusting plate is arranged approximately at a right angle to the coil axis on the end face of a coil body flange and is fastened to the coil body flange via the torsion bars.
- the inventive arrangement of the carrier with the adjusting plate on the face of the coil body and outside of the coil tube reduces the space requirement within the coil body, so that the winding diameter can also be reduced.
- the adjusting plate now requires a little more space on the end face in the area of the coil flange, this additional requirement is small compared to the savings in the winding.
- the tongue anchor is attached to a separately manufactured carrier.
- This support can be made with the adjusting plate from a material with a particularly low spring deflection limit, while the tongue anchor can consist of thinner material with a relatively high spring deflection limit with regard to its switching function.
- the tongue anchor is expediently attached to a web bent out of the adjusting plate and angled in the direction of the coil axis.
- the torsion bars are each connected to integrally formed fastening tabs which are attached to the end face of the coil flange.
- These fastening tabs can be fastened, for example, by means of deformed fastening pins of the coil former.
- the adjusting plate is arranged in a recess of the coil former adapted to its contour. In order to be able to record as many magnetic field lines as possible during the adjustment, the adjustment plate appropriately takes up a substantial portion of the end face of the coil body. This adjusting plate is advantageously widened in a T-shape at one end.
- the tongue anchor can also be made in one piece with the support and the adjusting plate.
- the adjusting plate is expediently reinforced by material folding in order to be able to accommodate as many magnetic field lines as possible.
- the tongue anchor can be connected at one end to the adjusting plate formed by bending and on both sides via a torsion bar, each with a support element.
- a flow transition flap which is parallel to the adjusting plate and is formed by material folding can be formed on each support element.
- the relay shown in the drawing has a coil former 1 made of insulating material with a winding 2.
- a spring-elastic tongue anchor 3 arranged approximately along the coil axis is fastened with one end 3a in the area of the one coil flange 4 and with its free end 3b in the area of the coil flange 5 arranged movably between the two opposing pole plates 6 and 7.
- the opposing pole plates 6 and 7 are coupled with their sections 6a and 7a bent into a common plane to a flat, four-pole permanent magnet 8.
- a support 9 is used to hold the tongue anchor 3, which is essentially perpendicular to the coil axis on the front side in front of the coil flange 4 and has a notched web 9a which is bent in the direction of the coil axis and on which the fastening end 3a of the tongue anchor is fastened, for example by spot welding .
- the carrier 9 also forms an adjusting plate in the form of two adjusting tabs 9b and 9c, which are connected to two fixing tabs 9f and 9g via torsion bars 9d and 9e.
- the fastening tabs 9f and 9g are attached to the fastening pin 10 of the bobbin flange 4 by means of bores 9h and 9i and fixed by hot deformation of this fastening pin 10.
- the carrier 9 consists of a ferromagnetic material with a low spring deflection limit, preferably pure iron.
- a magnetic field can be applied from the outside in such a way that a torque is exerted on the two adjustment tabs 9b and 9c and thereby the Torsion bars 9d and 9e are permanently deformed. With this deformation, the web 9a, which is firmly connected to the adjustment tabs 9b and 9c, and the tongue anchor 3 fastened thereon are adjusted.
- the magnetic field must be applied in such a way that the field lines strike the adjusting plate or the adjusting tabs 9b and 9c at an angle.
- the field lines are preferably set to an angle that is greater than 60 ° and less than 90 ° with respect to the adjustment tabs.
- the adjustment tabs 9b and 9c are arranged in a recess 11 of the bobbin flange 4, so that the adjustment tabs can be pivoted freely in the necessary area.
- the adjustment tabs 9b and 9c are designed such that they essentially occupy the entire end face of the coil body, with the exception of the area required by the attachment tabs 9f and 9g.
- the adjustment tab 9b is therefore widened in a T-shape in the present example.
- the coil body interior 15 can be covered by a film 12 together with the space 11 accommodating the adjustment tabs 9b and 9c, while the other end of the coil body is covered by a film 13 placed on the pole plate sections 6a and 7a.
- foils 12 and 13 are used for provisional covering, in order to ensure, when the relay is subsequently potted in a ferromagnetic cap 14, that no potting compound penetrates into the interior 15 of the coil former 1.
- these foils 12 and 13 serve for electrical insulation, since the tongue armature 3 and also the counter-pole plates 6 and 7 simultaneously serve for making electrical contact.
- the opposing pole plates 6 and 7 are provided with integrally formed connecting pins 6b and 7b, while a connecting pin 9k for the tongue anchor is integrally formed on the carrier 9.
- pins 16 for the coil windings embedded are arranged in the intended grid dimension or bent into this grid dimension.
- the ferromagnetic cap 14 serves for the targeted guidance of the permanent magnetic flux as well as the excitation flux, the coupling between the carrier 9 and the cap 14 being relatively good despite the existing air gap due to the large area of the adjustment tabs 9b and 9c and the mounting tabs 9f and 9g.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 has a coil body 21 made of insulating material with a winding 22.
- a tongue armature 23 which is arranged approximately along the coil axis and is resilient in the switching area of the armature, is fastened with one end 23a in the area of the one coil flange 24 and with its free end 23b movably arranged in the region of the coil flange 25 between the two opposing pole plates 26 and 27.
- the opposing pole plates 26 and 27 are coupled with their sections 26a and 27a bent into a common plane to a flat, four-pole permanent magnet 28.
- a tongue 29 is used to hold the tongue anchor 23 in a material-uniform manner, formed in the form of two lateral support elements 29a and 29b, which is connected to the tongue anchor 23 via torsion bars 29c and 29d.
- an adjustment plate 30 is formed by right-angled bending, which is given a double wall thickness by folding the material twice. This adjusting plate 30 is initially guided vertically upwards with its leg 30a from the tongue anchor 23, then bent and arranged vertically downward with the leg 30b, from where the leg 30c in turn in the same plane as the leg 30a again above ver running.
- the adjusting plate 30 can absorb enough magnetic field lines when adjusting with a magnetic field in order to achieve an adjustment of the tongue anchor 23 by permanent deformation on the torsion bars 29c and 29d.
- the spring bending limit of the tongue anchor or carrier material is chosen so that no permanent deformation occurs in the small switching movement in the range from 0.1 to 0.2 mm, while a plastic deformation occurs in the larger movements generated by the adjusting magnetic field via the adjusting plate is achievable.
- the carrier elements 29a and 29b are each non-positively fastened in the grooves of the coil former flange 24 by insertion.
- the plate of the support 29 is bent upward at right angles with one leg 29e or 29f, then bent and then guided vertically downward to form flow transition lobes 29g or 29h.
- These flow transition tabs 29g and 29h are offset somewhat from the adjusting plate 30 towards the outside of the relay, so that the free movement of the adjusting plate 30 is maintained when a sealing film 31 and a housing cap 32 are placed on it.
- a connecting spike 29i is also integrally formed on the river transition tab 29h.
- the relay is constructed and sealed as the relay of Fig. 1. The adjustment process is the same as that of the relay there.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1 bis 3 eine erste Ausführungsform eines erfindungsgemäß gestalteten Relais in drei verschiedenen Schnittansichten;
