Description

The invention relates to a concrete block for delimiting a playing field provided with an artificial turf, with a slot extending over the entire length of the stone for fixing an edge strip of the artificial turf through anchoring elements inserted into the slot, the slot being connected to a water drain.

A concrete block of this type is known (DE-A 2656300), in which the edge strip of the artificial turf rests on an upper horizontal edge surface which is offset downwards from the upper horizontal surface of the concrete block lying beyond the continuous slot. This edge strip is fixed to the concrete block by a multi-part edge profile, which is supported on the edge strip, has spigots engaging in the slot and spaced-apart bearing blocks that limit a passage for the rainwater to the gutter. This design does not provide secure support for the edge strip of the artificial turf when the tensile load is directed towards the playing field. In addition, the structure of the edge profile covering the edge strip is relatively complicated.

The invention has for its object to design a concrete block to delimit an artificial turf field so that the edge strip of the artificial turf is clamped with little design effort, the surface water can be removed between the clamping elements and retensioning of the artificial turf is possible.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the slot is wedge-shaped, has an undercut surface on one side and that as anchoring elements in the slot for tightening the edge strip against the undercut side of the slot, wedges are spaced apart from one another, each associated with the undercut Stage are arranged.

The wedges form end faces for drainage channels provided in the area of the wedge-shaped slot, which, since the distance between the wedges can be considerably larger than the length of the individual wedges, can have a relatively large cross-section. Through these drainage channels, an intensive drainage can be carried out in the edge area of the playing field. By arranging an undercut surface in the wall area of the wedge-shaped slot, on which the edge strip of the artificial turf is applied and then tightened by means of the wedges, and by equipping the wedges with a step which is assigned to the undercut, the edge strip is fixed the artificial turf not only creates a positive connection corresponding to the wedge suit, but also a positive fit. This ensures that even when the artificial turf is subjected to tensile loads towards the playing field, the tension cannot be released and the wedges maintain their height in the slot.

The undercut in a wall of the slot forms a second tensioning edge for the adjoining edge strip of the artificial turf to the upper boundary edge of the slot. The edge strip is also drawn between two adjacent wedges around this second tensioning edge, so that the risk of wrinkling in the artificial turf track is low.

If it is necessary to retension an installed artificial turf, as bumps have occurred in the artificial turf due to different temperatures, the wedges driven into the wedge-shaped slot of the concrete block with hammer blows can be easily removed with a special tool. The wedges are levered out by this special tool.

The surface water is drained off through the drainage channels provided between the wedges into gutter channels running underneath or via drain pipes into the underground drainage.

The subject matter of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to drawings I to III in exemplary embodiments.

Drawing I represents a concrete block that e.g. is made of a plastic concrete. Fig. 1 shows this concrete block in cross section. in the area of a water drain pipe 5. FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section along the line C-D in FIG. 1, which includes a section along the line A-B of FIG. 2.

The shaped concrete block is structurally permitted so that it can be moved like a normal edge stone. The lateral recesses 9 and the widened foot 10 also serve to save weight and material and for good anchoring in the concrete.

In Fig. 1, the upper edge of the concrete block lying next to the lawn is formed somewhat lower, so that e.g. an adjacent plastic covering 12 (a track) can be brought up to the slot 2 of the concrete block. This results, similar to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, in a soft upper edge which counteracts the risk of injury.

Drawing 11, in which FIG. 4 shows a section along the line EF in FIG. 5 and FIG. 5 shows a plan view of FIG. 4, shows a two-part concrete block in which the lower part is provided with a channel 4 , while the upper part is equipped with the slot 2 and forms a cover for the channel 4. This concrete block is mainly installed where there is a lower-lying track next to the grass field, which must be drained on the surface. The water inlet is shown by arrows. It runs through the inlet slots 11 to the channel channel 4. FIG. 5 shows a top view of FIG. 4, the continuous slot 2 and the arrangement of the wedges 3 driven into the slot 2 by hammer blows, the spacing of which can be selected from one another. In the drawing 111 another embodiment of the wedge 3 is shown, which can be made of a plastic material. FIG. 7 shows a perspective illustration in which the toothing 6 on both sides and the step 3a formed on one side are visible. 8 shows a cross section with an illustration of the edge strip of the artificial turf 1. Here one can see how the elastic synthetic turf 1 presses against the undercut surface 2a through the step 3a of the wedge 3 formed on one side and is thus securely held.
