Description

The invention relates to a roller shutter or blind box for windows or doors, which at the same time forms the upper cross part of the window or door frame (floor frame), a stop being provided for the casement of the window or door on the underside of the box.

A roller shutter box of the above type integrated in the window or door frame has become known from DE-OS-2 722 289. Compared to older constructions in which the roller shutter box is still placed on the window or door frame, this version already saves space or reduces the overall height, but the result achieved is still insufficient.

The invention has for its object to develop a roller shutter or blind box of the type mentioned in such a way that the overall height is reduced even further and corresponds to that of a conventional window or door frame (without roller shutter or blind box). Compared to normal windows, the roller shutter or blind box should no longer cause any additional light loss.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that a corner profile rail is arranged between the underside and the inside of the roller shutter or blind box, which, viewed in section, a rectangular recess, at least substantially accommodates the upper cross part of the casement, and that outside of Recess is formed by the inward free longitudinal edge of the corner rail a stop for the upper cross part of the casement, while the vertical wall of the rectangular recess in the corner rail forms the inner stop for the upper cross part of the casement. ' Through these measures according to the invention, an overall height is achieved which corresponds to that of a conventional window or door frame without an attached or integrated roller shutter box, the same glass sizes can also be used in the case of a window, which means that by including the roller shutter or Venetian blind box in the window frame no additional light loss occurs. When viewing the construction according to the invention from the room side, one gets the impression that a conventional window or door is present without an integrated roller shutter or blind box. Further advantages achieved by the invention consist in the fact that, due to the considerably larger distance and therefore thicker air cushion between the outside of the window or door and the inside of the lowered roller shutter curtain compared to the prior art, more favorable heat and sound insulation values are achieved. The corner profile rail according to the invention also advantageously forms a part that harmonizes with the other three parts of the window or door frame and can be easily connected to the two side parts of the window or door frame.

In the above sense, an embodiment of the invention is furthermore advantageous, according to which the stop formed by the inward-pointing free longitudinal edge of the corner profile rail is provided at such a height that it is on or near a horizontal one which intersects the longitudinal axis of the roller shutter winding shaft or the retracted blind Level lies.

Although the corner rail can be made of metal or wood, its production from plastic in the extrusion process is preferred for cost reasons, and in this case the further development of the invention according to claim 3 brings the advantage that the strength of the window or door frame with the integrated box is improved.

If the angle section rail carries a closure plate for the inspection opening on the box base, a major repair is f reundlichkeit compared with the initially mentioned prior art, reached at which the inspection opening is provided on the box interior.

  • Figur 1 schematisch eine Seitenansicht eines Rolladenkastens gemäß der Erfindung mit dem oberen Querteil eines Fenster-Flügelrahmens, teilweise im Schnitt ;
The invention is subsequently explained on the basis of the drawings of two exemplary embodiments. Show it :
  • Figure 1 shows schematically a side view of a roller shutter box according to the invention with the upper cross part of a window casement, partly in section;
  • Figure 2 shows schematically for comparison a cross-sectional view of the upper cross parts of a conventional window frame and casement frame without integrated roller shutter box and
  • 3 shows a side view similar to FIG. 1, partly in section, but with a blind box integrated in the window frame according to the invention.

In Fig. 1, 10 is an extremely flat roller shutter box, which has an upper part 11 and a panel 12 made of plastic, for. B. polyvinyl chloride, an outer panel 13 made of z. B. aluminum and side parts 14, of which only one can be seen in Fig. 1. The inspection opening 15, which is required for repair or replacement purposes, is provided on the underside of the box and closed by an end plate 16, which can consist of a metallic core and a plastic jacket 17. 18 is the roller shutter curtain wound on a winding shaft (not shown) in the roller shutter box 10, of which a lowered part 19 is indicated in one of the two lateral guide rails 20.

A corner profile rail 21 is arranged between the underside and the inside of the roller shutter box 10, on the one hand with the side parts 14 of the roller shutter box 10 and on the other hand is connected to the two side parts (not shown) of a window frame. The corner profile rail 21 thus forms the upper cross part of this window frame and, viewed in section, has a right-angled recess 22 which can essentially accommodate the upper cross part 23 of the window casement frame, as shown in FIG. 1. The corner rail 21 is also used for releasably holding the inspection plate 15 covering the end plate 16. The window casement, of which only the upper cross member 23 is shown in Fig. 1, consists in the embodiment of plastic rails, which are reinforced by embedded U-shaped metal rails 24 are. With 25 the two laminated glass panes used in the window casement are designated.

Fig. 1 clearly shows that the roller shutter box 10 is not only extremely flat, but is also pulled far down over the upper cross member 23 of the window casement. The vertical wall of the rectangular recess 22 forms an inner stop 26 for the window casement, while the inward free longitudinal edge of the corner rail 21 serves as a stop 27 for the upper cross member 23 of the window casement, the counter stop 28 on the cross member 23 upwards is drawn. 1 also shows that the stop 27 for the window casement lies approximately at the level of the longitudinal axis 29 of the roller shutter winding shaft.

In the exemplary embodiment, the corner profile rail 21 is made of plastic and (in particular in relation to the mechanically highly stressed stop 27) is provided with embedded metallic reinforcement profiles 30, 30A. With 31, 32 and 33 sealing strips are designated, which are anchored in part in the corner rail 21 and in part in the window casement and in the box top 11.

In Fig. 2, the upper transverse part of a conventional window frame made of plastic and the upper transverse part of the assigned window casement frame is designated with 34 in section. A comparison of Figures 1 and 2 reveals that the overall height of a window frame with an integrated roller shutter box 10 according to the invention is not greater than that of a conventional plastic window construction without an integrated roller shutter box.

In Fig. 3 a blind box 10 'is shown instead of a roller shutter box, but is integrated in the same manner as in the embodiment of Fig. 1 in the window frame, i. H. that in this case, the corner rail 21 forms the upper cross part of the window frame. The same parts are identified by the same reference numbers as in FIG. 1. The blind 36 is indicated in FIG. 3 in the raised state, in which its end rail 37 replaces the end plate 16 of FIG. The blind 36 is attached to the upper part 11 of the blind box 10 '. In this case too, the measures according to the invention result in a considerable reduction in the overall constructional cavity of the window construction.
