Definitions
- the object of the invention is to create an underwater substructure system which also for greater depths the installation of a fixed, stable, anchored in the sea floor, constantly submerged substructure is permitted and is not exposed to wind and waves.
- connection of the lower ends of the main beams to the respective support frame is preferably carried out via a universal joint.
- the main girders For the installation and also for the stability of the installed substructure, the main girders contain ballast material in their lower ends and buoyancy material in their upper ends.
- Cable winches with ropes on the individual parts of the system to be connected are also provided for the installation.
- the main girders consisting of a tubular structure are suitable for the formation of storage containers, e.g. for crude oil.
- the complete system shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of the known, self-lifting platform 11, the legs 10 of which are connected to the legs 9 of an optional intermediate structure, which is placed on a fin-like structure 8, which in turn by means of double hinges 5 are connected to the upper ends of the five main supports 2 of the substructure system according to the invention.
- the upper ends of the main beams 2 are connected by means of a horizontal connecting frame 3 Double hinges 6, 7 connected to each other.
- a depth of 650 m below the water level is assumed for the sea floor, while the platform 11 is 39 m above the water level.
- the substructure system according to the invention is constantly completely under water and below the effective range of the waves, as shown in FIG. 1 at the top left.
- To the right of Fig. 1 is a sectional view of a main support, which is suitable with its dimensions for forming storage tanks for crude oil.
- the lower ends of the main carrier 2 contain ballast material and the upper ends contain buoyant material, as indicated in FIG. 1 by 14 and 15.
- the installation of the substructure system according to the invention is described below with reference to FIGS. 4 to 14.
- the exact distances and quotas of the five base points A, B, C, are measured using a submarine (Smg).
- D, E measured for the five main beams.
- the piles 4 with the support frame 1 at the measured base points driven into the seabed, as shown in Fig.5.
- the main beams 2 are brought floating over the base points and, thanks to their ballasts 14 and buoyancy materials 15, vertically next to the base points placed on the seabed as shown in Fig. 6.
- the length of the individual carriers 2 is determined by the measured quotas of the individual base points, which in the example, according to FIG. 1, are up to 200 m apart.
- a winch 16 with rope 17 is arranged in the lower end of each carrier 2.
- the free end of the rope 17 is connected to the support frame 1 by means of the (Smg); thereupon, also with the help of the (Smg,), such a quantity of the ballast material 14 is drawn off via a hose line 20 that the carrier 2, thanks to the drive material 15 in its upper end, the position shown in FIG. 7 occupies.
- the connecting frame 3 is brought into position according to FIG. 10 and connected to the carriers 2 by means of ropes 22, which can be done with the help of a diving bell 23 or with the help of the submarine (Smg).
- the connecting frame 3 is lowered and the supports 2 are inclined so far that the hinge parts 6, 7 on the connecting frame 3 with the corresponding hinge parts 6, 7 on the supports 2 come into contact whereupon the bolts are inserted into the hinges, so that the position shown in FIG. 11 is created.
- ballast material 14 and the buoyancy material 15 are brought into a ratio in the carriers 2 such that the carriers 2 are under their own stress and each carrier 2 is in equilibrium with its universal joint 13 on the supporting frame 1.
- the 15 shows a modified mounting of the supports 2 on the support frame 1, with instead of the universal joint, the supports 2 are placed on the support frame 1 by gravity, with a corresponding hemispherical shape 13, is provided.
- the substructure according to the invention can also be doubled by placing two substructure systems of this type on top of one another, the lower end of the lower system being designed as shown and the upper system being on the lower one by means of a fin-like structure 8 - as in FIG. 1 - can be attached,
Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht eines kowpletten Systems mit durch Pfähle (4) im Meeresboden veran= kerten Tragrahmen (1) für die Hauptträger (2) des Unterbaues,mit fakultativer Zwi= schenstruktur (9) und mit selbsthebender Plattform (11);
- Fig. 2 die um 90° gegenüber der Fig. 1 verdrehte Seitenansicht des gleichen Systems;
- Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf das Unterbausystem nach den Figuren 1 und 2;
- Figuren 4 bis 14 Installationsschritte des erfin= dungsgemässen Unterbausystems;
