Definitions

  • the invention relates to a furniture hinge with a supporting wall stop part in the form of an elongated support arm, which can be pivoted by a hinge joint and is coupled to the door leaf stop part and has a substantially U-shaped cross section, which is detachable and adjustable in at least two coordinate directions on a mountable to the supporting wall of a cabinet body Mounting plate is held, the support arm side walls formed by the U-legs at least partially overlap the mounting plate, and the support arm in its end wall connecting the side walls has an enlarged slot on its end facing away from the hinge joint or an open-ended longitudinal slot through which the shaft a fastening screw screwed into the mounting plate and is provided at a distance from the longitudinal slot in its end wall with a threaded bore which is penetrated by a threaded pin supported on the mounting plate, papersc Hinges with such a configuration of the support arm and the mounting plate (DE-C-15 54 336 or DEA2614446), which have been introduced in recent years for the pivotable articulation of door leaves on the associated
  • the fastening screw passing through the longitudinal slot of the support arm must be tightened immediately with the door leaf supported, at least to such an extent that the support arm is not pulled off the mounting plate again by the weight of the door leaf and the door leaf crashes.
  • the fastening screw must be relative to the cabinet body, z. B. with regard to the door wing overlay dimension, the depth setting of the closed door wing relative to the cabinet body and - in special cases - also the height adjustment of the door wing relative to the cabinet body so that the corresponding adjustment shifts can be carried out. I.e.
  • the fastening screw must be unscrewed when inserting the door leaf by an amount that allows the support arm to be pushed onto the mounting plate, and must be screwed in before the subsequent adjustment of the door leaf by an amount that still allows the setting of the door leaf, an unwanted emergence of the support arm from the
  • engagement position with the mounting plate prevents, for which in the known hinge according to DE-C-1554336 cooperating stops and counter-stops are provided on the support arm and the mounting plate.
  • the invention has for its object to develop the known hinges so that they are secured with the simple mounting option of the support arm by placing or pushing on the mounting plate after the push-on operation so that an unwanted separation of the support arm from the mounting plate is no longer possible .
  • this object is achieved according to the invention in that in at least one of the side plates of the support arm which overlaps the mounting plate, a recess or recess is provided with a locking edge which extends essentially at right angles to the surface of the support wall and points towards the hinge-joint end of the support arm and In the area of the mounting plate opposite the recess or recess, a latching element which is resiliently biased into a position protruding beyond the side surface of the mounting plate is arranged with a locking edge facing the hinge joint opposite the inside of the cabinet in such a position that the locking edge on the support arm and the locking edge of the locking element in a longitudinal displacement of the support arm on the mounting plate parallel to the supporting wall come into locking engagement as soon as the shaft of the fastening screw screwed into the mounting plate comes into the rear transition region of the Longitudinal slot reaches the push-through opening or open mouth.
  • the locking edges come on when the support arm is slid onto the Associated mounting plate in resilient locking engagement at the very moment when the fastening screw is placed in the longitudinal slot of the support arm or the longitudinal groove of the mounting plate, and prevents the support arm from being pulled back from the mounting plate and thus also falling, largely independently of the screw-in depth of the fastening screw of the door wing attached to the cabinet body.
  • the latching element can be formed by an end section of an elongated spiral spring held in or on the mounting plate, the bending spring having, for example, the shape of a section of spring-elastic metal wire arranged in a recess in the upper side of the mounting plate, one end section of which the recess is fastened, while its other free end section passes through an opening in the wall of the mounting plate which laterally delimits the recess and protrudes somewhat beyond the associated side face of the mounting plate.
  • the free end of the metal wire section thus forms the locking edge of the locking element.
  • the arrangement of the resilient metal wire section is expediently such that its free end section is directed away from the hinge joint into the interior of the cabinet.
  • At least one of the side surfaces of the mounting plate overlapped by the area of the supporting wall side walls provided with the recess or the recess can also be provided with a low projection with a stop surface which extends from the hinge joint into the interior of the cabinet and runs at right angles to the supporting wall surface and which relates to the locking element is slightly offset towards the bearing surface of the mounting plate on the supporting wall of the cabinet body.
  • This projection thus forms a fixed stop on the mounting plate, which, in cooperation with the locking edge of the support arm, also represents a safeguard against retraction of the support arm from the mounting plate, but in this case - because of the offset arrangement in comparison to the resilient locking edge of the latching element in the direction of the mounting surface of the mounting plate - Only becomes effective when the fastening screw is screwed into the mounting plate accordingly. I.e. even if the locking element, d. H. in the special case the spiral spring is omitted, there is - in accordance with the known hinges of the type in question here - a securing the setting of the hinge without the risk of unintentional separation of the support arm from the mounting plate.
  • the position of the stop surface of the protrusion then suitably corresponds approximately to the position of the locking edge of the latching element when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the mounting plate.
  • the configuration can be such that a resiliently projecting locking element is provided on one of the side surfaces of the mounting plate and a projection with a stop surface is provided on the other side surface of the mounting plate.
  • a resiliently projecting latching element can also be provided on each of the two side surfaces of the mounting plate and - in terms of height offset in the direction of the bearing surface of the mounting plate on the supporting wall - a projection with a stop surface can be provided.
  • the mounting plate is expedient in a conventional manner in a mountable to the supporting wall base and on the base in parallel to the hinge pivot axis and parallel to the surface of the support wall divided a predetermined dimension displaceable and fixable in selectable displacement positions, in which the threaded hole for the fastening screw for the support arm is provided.
  • a tongue and groove connection extending in the direction of displacement of the upper part is then expediently provided, which only displaces the upper part of the mounting plate relative to the lower part when the fastening screw is loosened in the height direction of the door leaf allows.
  • the hook attachment which grips under the boundary edge of the through opening also secures the upper part of the mounting plate in the end region on the hinge side against lifting off from the lower part without impeding the adjustment in the vertical direction.
  • the hinge according to the invention shown in FIG. 1, designated in its entirety by 10, has a mounting wall stop part, which is adjustably attached to a mounting plate 14 preassembled on the supporting wall 12 of a cabinet body, and is designed as an elongated supporting arm 16 with a U-shaped cross-section, the one with the door leaf -Stop part is coupled by two hinge links 18, 20, the ends of which are pivotably mounted in the manner of a four-bar linkage on the front end of the support arm 16 on the door leaf side or on or in the door leaf stop part, which in turn is arranged as a recessed insert 24 in a hole or in a milled hole in the door leaf 22 is trained.
  • the elongated support arm 16 shown separately in FIGS. 2 to 5 has - as mentioned - a U-shaped cross section, i. H. its side walls 26, which run at a parallel distance, are connected to one another along their upper edges by an end wall 28.
