Abstract

L'isolateur de liaison en matière plastique, notamment pour lignes aériennes à haute tension, est constitué d'une âme en plastique (7) renforcée par des fibres de verre disposées parallèlement à l'axe longitudinal de l'isolateur. Les fibres sont en verre, pauvre en bore ou de préférence dépourvu de bore. L'âme renforcée est entourée d'éléments isolants (8) en plastique et munie à ses extrémités d'armatures (9).
