Definitions
- the invention relates to an electromagnetic relay with an elongated armature, which extends essentially parallel to the axis of the excitation coil and is movably supported at one end by means of an armature carrier made of insulating material on a flange of the coil body, in particular according to patent (file number P 31 32 239.5).
- the relay according to the main patent has the advantage that the armature movement is transmitted directly to the contact springs by the direct attachment of the contact springs in the insulating support of the armature, so that no actuating slide is required.
- the connection of the movable contact springs to the insulating carrier provided there can therefore avoid any friction between the armature and the movable contact spring, which is caused by the otherwise usual actuating slide.
- any friction of the armature is not yet avoided in the exemplary embodiments of the main patent, since the cutting edge and pin bearings of the armature described there cause only slight, but not negligible, friction.
- the object of the invention is to design a relay of the type mentioned, in particular according to the main patent, in such a way that the armature is mounted with practically no friction with a few, easily assembled parts.
- tensioning tapes are formed on the armature carrier made of elastic plastic and extend in two directions in the direction of the armature axis of rotation, which are each held on holding arms of the coil body.
- the tensioning straps which are integrally formed on the anchor carrier, provide a shock-proof, simple and friction-free anchor bearing, the anchor and possibly also the movable contact parts fastened in the anchor carrier being fixable by plug-in assembly.
- the holding arms of the bobbin are fork-shaped, and the armature holding member can be hung between the fork ends of the holding arms by means of clamping heads formed on the free ends of the tensioning straps.
- the clamping heads can each rest with notches in the notches of the holding arms.
- the holding arms of the coil body like the armature carrier, are also designed to be elastic.
- the tensioning band cross-sectional longitudinal axis extends perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the armature.
- the anchor carrier can be produced particularly easily using the injection molding process.
- the tension band cross-sectional area is expediently rectangular, as a result of which an exact anchor position and a restoring effect can be achieved in the starting position.
- the ratio of length to width for the tensioning band cross section is expediently chosen between 4: 1 and 10: 1. In this way, a sufficient, but not too large, constant torsion spring can be achieved.
- the tension band cross-sectional area can also be diamond-shaped or oval. This also makes it possible to achieve an exact preferred direction for the anchor position and an exact return to the starting position, but at the same time the tensioning straps are easier and more homogeneous to produce by injection molding because of the larger flow cross-section.
- Fig. 1 shows a top view of the sectional view of a relay with the basic structure according to the main patent.
- a coil former 2 with coil winding 3 is fastened on a base body 1.
- An elongated, rod-shaped armature 5 is arranged in the axial bore 4 of the coil body 2.
- This armature is supported at its end 5a via an armature support 6 and is movable with its free end 5b between the pole plates 7 and 8, with which it forms a working air gap.
- the pole plates 7 and 8 form magnetic yokes next to or below the coil, which are coupled with their ends 7a and 8a to the supported end of the armature.
- a permanent magnet not shown, can be arranged between these yokes, for example, which results in a polarized magnet system.
- the anchor bracket 6 is connected to the anchor end 5a by plug-in assembly. In addition, it carries center contact springs 9 and 10, which are respectively inserted in recesses 6a and 6b and extend parallel to the armature on both sides of the coil ken and cooperate with their free ends with counter-contact elements 11, 12, 13 and 14, respectively.
- the center contact springs 9 and 10 anchored in the insulating support 6 are connected via elastic intermediate pieces 9a and 10a to the associated connecting lugs 15 and 16 which are anchored in the base body 1.
- the design of the armature carrier is shown in detail in FIG. 2.
- This armature carrier 6 carries, as mentioned, the rod-shaped armature 5 as well as the center contact springs 9 and 10, which are each fastened in recesses of the carrier by insertion.
- Molded on the anchor carrier are two tensioning straps 17 and 18, which each extend on the top and on the bottom of the anchor carrier 6 in the direction of the anchor axis of rotation and each carry a tensioning head 19 or 20 at their free ends.
- the tensioning straps 17 and 18 serve as torsion bars, which can twist during the armature movement without bearing friction occurring.
- the tensioning straps have an essentially rectangular cross-sectional area, the longitudinal axis of this cross-sectional area running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the anchor.
- the longitudinal cross-sectional axis of the tensioning straps 17 and 18 could also be arranged at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the anchor in order to specify a prestressing of the anchor on one side or the other and thus a one-sided anchor resting position.
- the transition points 18a and 18b from the tensioning band 18 to the anchor bracket 6 and also to the tensioning head 20 are rounded, as are the transition points on the tensioning strap 17, on the one hand to achieve a homogeneous flow during the spraying process of the anchor bracket and on the other hand to avoid a notch effect when used in the relay.
- the coil former 2 has on its flange 2a above and below the armature end 5a a holding arm 21 and 22 with forked ends 21a, 21b, 22a and 22b.
- a latching notch 23 is provided on each of these holding arms 21 and 22, into which the clamping heads 19 and 20 each engage with a latching cutting edge 24 and are thus held.
- the straps are inserted between the fork ends 21a and 21b or 22a and 22b.
- the locking edges are inclined symmetrically in a roof shape so that the tensioning straps center themselves in the lateral direction.
- the anchor carrier 6 with the molded-on straps 17 and 18 and the clamping heads 19 and 20 expediently consists of tough-elastic, tear-resistant and temperature-resistant plastic with little elastic aftereffect. This results in a secure clamping effect over the entire operating temperature range of the relay and a long mechanical life.
- PBTP is an example of a suitable material. It is also expedient to use the same material for the coil body with the integrally formed holding arms 21 and 22. This results in temperature compensation and compensation for material influences, for example shrinkage.
- the armature suspension could of course also be attached to the side of the coil so that the armature would not extend inside the coil but next to the coil.
- the holding arms for the armature carrier could then be integrally formed on the side of the coil former, while the other parts, the fastening or actuation of the contact springs, were modified accordingly ought to.
- the friction-free mounting of the anchor via tensioning straps could in this case take place in exactly the same way as in the exemplary embodiment shown.

Abstract
Description
