Für das Entsaften von Trauben oder Obstmaische sind verschiedene Pressen bekannt. Z.B. sind mechanisch arbeitende Pressen bekannt, bei denen die Pressung mittels einer beweglichen Druckplatte in einem rotierenden Siebzylinder erfolgt. Darunter leidet das Material in seiner mechanischen Festigkeit, so daß es nach einiger Zeit zerstört wird.
