- Swiss Patent No. 336,289 describes a cylinder lock of this type with bit (104), comprising a monolytic frame (101) enclosing the internal and external opening mechanisms (102a, 102b) which comprise, on their internal part forming protruding from the frame, a peripheral groove (122a, b). These mechanisms are capable of being rotated with each other by mechanical means (107) which also locks the relative axial position of the two opening mechanisms of the lock.
- Known cylinder locks usually have relatively fragile mounting means.
