Definitions

  • the invention relates to an axially collapsible multi-part winding support for receiving threads or yarns, in each of which support elements extending from an annular body extend in the longitudinal direction of the winding support, form an essentially cylindrical lateral surface and are displaceably guided relative to one another, the side surfaces of the support elements each Winding carrier part come to rest on side surfaces of the supporting elements of the adjacent winding carrier part and at least every second one of the supporting elements lying next to one another in the circumferential direction is provided with radial openings in two winding carrier parts.
  • Such a winding support is already known (DE-U-7 102 230), in which a number of support elements running parallel to the axis of the winding support is arranged on one end ring, which is distributed evenly over the circumference and which has a radially inward side on one longitudinal side pointing and on their other long side have a radially outward-pointing guide shoulder.
  • the support elements fastened to the other end ring are firmly connected to one another on their inside in the region of their free ends by a ring and lie between the support elements of the one end ring.
  • the guide shoulders of the support elements fastened to one end ring work together with the guide shoulders of the support elements fastened to the other end ring.
  • the support elements attached to the two end rings are securely guided only in the region of the support ring both in the circumferential direction and in the radial direction.
  • the ring represents a stiffening of the winding carrier part assigned to it, so that this winding carrier part has different strength properties than the other winding carrier part.
  • the ring is arranged substantially centrally between the two end rings in the starting position of the known winding carrier, but that the ring is off-center when the winding carrier is partially pushed together, and thus the rigidity in the individual sections of the entire winding carrier is dependent on the Dimension by which the two winding support parts are guided into one another.
  • the object of the present invention is now to avoid the disadvantages of the known winding carrier and in particular to create a winding carrier which ensures reliable guidance of the two winding carrier parts with high rigidity, the strength distribution of the entire winding carrier in any position being substantially symmetrical to that centered between the end rings and the central plane and the strength is increased by pushing the winding support parts together.
  • stiffened sections are provided near the ring bodies, in which adjacent support elements are connected to one another by circumferentially extending support elements and via which the free ends of these support elements protrude in the axial direction, and that at least some of the support elements of each winding support part protrude radially, at least in the area of the stiffened section that is arranged away from the associated ring body, into the surfaces on which the inner edges of the free ends of the support elements of the adjacent winding support part lie, and thus radially effective supports for them forms free ends of the support elements.
  • This winding carrier is characterized in particular in the area of its stiffened section by a high strength, wherein the support elements can be formed by parts of a perforated jacket wall or by individual webs. In any position, the strength distribution of this winding support remains symmetrical to the central plane, and the strength is increased when pushed together.
  • the free ends of the support elements of one winding support part are guided in a form-fitting manner between the support elements of the other winding support part in the region of the stiffened section thereof.
  • All support elements can be provided with radial openings. However, it is also possible for only two of the cooperating support elements adjacent in the circumferential direction to be provided with such breakthroughs.
  • the support elements not provided with openings advantageously have only relatively small dimensions in the circumferential direction.
  • Each individual support element is guided at its free end with high reliability by the two support elements of the opposite winding support part, which are adjacent in the circumferential direction, and by at least one support element.
  • the two end rings can be designed such that they lie with their peripheral surface in the cylindrical surface formed by the outer surfaces of the support elements. But it is also possible that the peripheral surface of the end rings protrudes beyond the cylindrical surface.
  • the winding support can be designed such that the side faces of the support elements lie essentially in planes extending radially with respect to the winding support axis.
  • the winding carrier can be designed in this way be that the side surfaces of each support element of one of two cooperating winding support parts run parallel to each other.
  • the winding support can be designed so that - as is known per se from DE-U 7102 230 - each support element has at least on one side surface a radially inward or outward guide surface with a radially to cooperates outside or inward-facing guide surface, which is provided on a side surface of a support element of the adjacent winding support part.
  • each support element has at least on one side surface a radially inward or outward guide surface with a radially to cooperates outside or inward-facing guide surface, which is provided on a side surface of a support element of the adjacent winding support part.
  • the winding support can be designed such that the support elements of the stiffened sections are each formed by at least two ring segments arranged at a distance from one another in the axial direction and extending between the support elements. At least the ring segment that is furthest away from the associated end ring lies radially within the surfaces on which the inner edges of the free ends of the support elements of the opposite winding support part are arranged. Consequently, the support elements of the one winding support part can be pushed in the axial direction at least over one of the support elements of the opposite winding support part.
  • the winding support can be designed in such a way that the support elements are each coupled between two support elements by at least one essentially axially parallel sliding web which continuously adjoins the outer surfaces of the support elements.
  • These sliding webs reliably prevent the free ends of the support elements of one winding support part from bumping against the support elements of the other winding support part in the event of slight tilting of the winding support parts.
  • the sliding webs can be placed so that they support the guidance of the support elements on both sides.
  • the winding support can be designed so that the outer surfaces of the support elements spring back radially inwards at their free ends. This ensures that when the bobbin parts are pushed together, the inner layers of the yarn bobbin arranged on the bobbin are passed underneath and are therefore not damaged. At the same time, it follows that the free ends of the support elements formed in this way are completely or at least partially relieved of a radially inward pressure of the winding. This pressure is then absorbed entirely or at least predominantly by the stiffened section in the region of the free ends.
  • the winding carrier can be designed such that at least one resilient snap element is provided on at least one of two cooperating winding carrier parts, which in the initial position of the winding carrier cooperates releasably with a counterpart on the other winding carrier part. If the winding support has been compressed in the axial direction, it can then be returned to its starting position and fixed there correctly and releasably by means of the snap element.
  • the winding carrier can be designed such that each snap element is a spring tongue arranged between two supporting elements of a winding carrier part, which spring-engaging under a counterpart of the axially adjacent winding carrier part. It is possible to provide as many snap elements as support elements.
  • the winding support can be formed in two parts and have two head parts provided with end rings.
  • the winding support can be made in three parts.
  • the two head parts are expediently the same, it is possible to achieve a greater axial length of the winding support by using a longer middle part.
  • a single secondary form is required for this.
  • two other shapes are required if it is to be manufactured in a different axial length.
  • the winding support can be designed such that the outer surfaces of the support elements near the end rings of the two head parts extend radially inwards. It is thus achieved that the yarn package is fixed at its reversal points and the yarn layers are prevented from slipping towards the axial center. This also ensures that a winding cannot be moved beyond the end ring.
  • the winding support can be designed such that the ring body of the central part lies essentially in the longitudinal center thereof and that support elements are connected to it on both sides. This creates a continuous, continuous ring surface in the central area of the winding carrier, which can work well with a winding drum.
  • the winding support can be designed so that the ring body of the central part is roller-shaped.
  • the cooperation of the winding support with a slotted winding drum is further improved.
  • the winding support can be designed such that the ring body of the central part is broken up into several rings lying in parallel planes.
  • the winding support shown in the figures has two winding support parts 1, 2.
  • the winding support part 1 has an end ring 3 with a cylindrical inner surface 4 and a cylindrical outer surface 5. It is arranged concentrically to the longitudinal axis 6 of the winding support. From the end ring 1 extend uniformly distributed over the circumference, parallel to the winding support axis 6 support elements 7.
  • Each support element 7 is formed by two essentially parallel side parts 8, which are connected to one another at the free ends of the support elements 7 by a cross piece 9.
  • the two side parts 8 of the support elements 7 have outer surfaces 10, which lie together on a cylindrical surface, in which, in the exemplary embodiment described, the outer surface 5 of the end ring 3 also lies. In the area of the connection to the end ring 3, these outer surfaces 10 are inclined radially inwards at 11 towards the end ring 3. Otherwise, the outer surfaces 10 of the support elements 7 jump radially inwards in the region of their free ends at 12.
  • the two side parts 8 are also connected by a series of webs 13-19 running in the circumferential direction.
  • the side surfaces run essentially radially with respect to the winding support axis 6.
  • the two side parts 8 of each support element 7 have guide shoulders projecting in the circumferential direction (FIG. 6), of which the shoulder 20 of the one side part 8 points radially inwards and the shoulder 21 of the other side part 8 points radially outwards.
  • Support elements 7, which are adjacent in the circumferential direction, are rigidly connected to one another in a stiffened section 22 near the end ring 3 by means of annular support elements 23-26 running axially at a distance from one another in the circumferential direction.
  • the support elements 23-26 are aligned in the circumferential direction with the webs 13-16 between the side parts 8 'of the support elements 7. This aligned arrangement leads to rings and in connection with the support elements to a rigid cage. Although such an arrangement is advantageous, the aligned arrangement of these elements is by no means imperative.
  • the support elements 7 protrude beyond the stiffened section 22, which is determined by the support elements 23-26.
  • the inner edges 27 of the free ends of the support elements 7 lie in the same surfaces as the outer surfaces of the support elements 23-26 or, on the other hand, are offset a little outwards, so that additional guidance is provided here.
  • the web 19 in the region of the free ends of the support elements 7 is arranged most radially inwards. In contrast, the webs 17 and 18 are offset radially outwards.
  • the winding support part 1 is arranged on a support element 26 between two support elements 7 in the axial direction protruding spring tongue 28 which, starting from its free end, has a gradually increasing sliding surface 29, which abruptly springs back into a cutout 30, rises radially outwards again then gradually taper radially inwards.
  • the spring tongue 28 is elastically deformable radially inward when a suitable pressure is applied.
  • Fig. 1 only a spring tongue 28 is shown for the winding support part 1. It is possible to arrange further such tongues accordingly.
  • the winding support part 2 is constructed essentially as has already been described for the winding support part 1. It thus has support elements 35 with webs 36-42, which connect the side parts of the support elements, and an end ring 51a. The connection between adjacent support elements 35 is ensured by support elements 44-47. A spring tongue 50 of the type described is firmly connected to a support element 47.
  • the side parts of the support elements 35 are provided with a radially inwardly pointing shoulder 48 or with a radially outwardly pointing shoulder 49 (FIG. 7).
  • the distance measured in the circumferential direction of the support elements 7 of the winding support part 1 is dimensioned such that a support element 35 can engage between two support elements 7, a radially outwardly pointing shoulder of one support element cooperating with a radially inwardly pointing shoulder of the other support element.
  • a spring tongue 50 of the winding support part 2 engages under the web 19 of a support element 7 of the first winding support part 1 the two winding support parts 1, 2 exerted pressure in the axial direction, the spring tongues 28, 50 deform as well as any further spring tongues which are provided on one or on both winding support parts 1, 2, radially inwards and thus avoid the web 19 , so that both winding support parts 1, 2 can be pushed axially one inside the other.
  • the inner edges 27 of the support elements 7, 35 of the two winding support parts 1, 2 lie at their ends immediately radially outside the support element 26, which in this area, in conjunction with the side parts of the support elements 7, 35, provides reliable guidance between a support element of the produces a winding support part and two support elements of the opposite winding support part. If the two winding support parts 1, 2 are pushed into one another, the free ends of the support elements 7, 35 slide over the support elements 26-23 and 47-44.
  • the support elements adjacent to the respective end ring 3, 51a can also protrude into the path of the free ends of the support elements 7, 35, in order to define the extent to which the two winding support parts 1, 2 can be pushed into one another.
  • the tongues are also arranged radially outside of these support elements. If this winding carrier is now to be returned to its starting position after one working operation, it is only necessary to pull the two winding carrier parts 1, 2 apart until the spring tongues 28 and 50 engage again in the webs 42 and 19 and limit the spreading of the two winding carriers .
  • FIGS. 10 to 18 A further embodiment of the winding support according to the invention will now be described with reference to FIGS. 10 to 18.
  • This embodiment differs from the one described above in particular in that here the winding support is formed from three parts. It comprises an upper head part 51, a lower head part 52 and a middle part 53.
  • the two head parts 51, 52 are identical to one another and can therefore be manufactured in a single mold.
  • the structure of the head parts largely corresponds to that of the winding support parts 1 or 2 of the previously described embodiment. They each have an end ring 54 from which support elements 55, which are distributed uniformly over the circumference and extend parallel to the axis of the winding support, originate, as has already been described above.
  • Both head parts 51, 52 have a stiffened section 56 near the end ring 54, in which adjacent support elements 55 are connected to one another by support elements 57, 58, 59. These support elements are represented as ring segments.
  • the support elements 57, 58, 59 are coupled to one another by a sliding web 80 which runs essentially parallel to the support elements 55 and continuously adjoins the outer surfaces of the support elements.
  • the sliding web 80 lies directly on the side of a support element 55 on which the guide bar 62 is located. It thus contributes to improving the mutual guidance of the support elements 55, 67.
  • the support elements 55 have on one side an outwardly extending, over the entire length of the support elements 55 extending guide shoulder 60 which has a nose 61 near the end of the support elements, which gradually increases from the free end of the respective support element 55 and then jumps back radially inwards.
  • each support element 55 has a guide bar 62 which projects in the circumferential direction and which has a guide shoulder 63 pointing radially inwards.
  • the guide bar 62 starts from the free end of the support element 55 and ends at a distance from the stiffened section 56.
  • the side faces of each support element 55 of the head parts run parallel to each other in the described embodiment.
  • the middle part 53 has in its axial center two rings 64, 65 which run concentrically to the winding support axis and whose outer diameter in the exemplary embodiment is the same as the outer diameter of the end rings 54 of the head parts 51, 52.
  • the two rings 64, 65 are rigidly coupled to one another by webs 66.
  • Each support element 67 has on one side a radially outwardly pointing guide shoulder 71, on which a nose 72 is provided near the free end of the respective support element 67.
  • This guide shoulder 71 runs over the entire length of the respective support element. It essentially corresponds to the guide shoulder 60 of the head parts 51, 52.
  • each support element 67 of the central part 53 has a guide strip 73 which forms a guide shoulder 74 pointing radially inwards.
  • the guide bar 73 extends for each of the support elements 67 from the free end to close to the stiffened section 75 formed by the support elements 68, 69, 70. It is comparable to the guide bar 62 of the support elements 55.
  • the distances between two adjacent support elements 67 in the circumferential direction are dimensioned such that a support element 55 of the head parts 51, 52 can engage in a guided manner between these support elements 67 of the central part 53, in which case the outwardly facing guide shoulder 60 of the support elements 55 of the head parts 51, 52 also the radially inward-pointing guide shoulder 74 of the support elements 67 of the middle part 53 cooperates.
  • the radially inward-pointing guide shoulder 63 of the support elements 55 of the head parts 51, 52 cooperates with the radially outward-pointing guide shoulder 71 of the support elements 67 of the middle part 53.
  • the support elements 57, 58, 59 and 68, 69, 70 provide another guide for the free ends of the support elements 67 and 55.
  • the middle part can be designed such that the support elements on one side of the ring body are adapted to the guide slot formed between the support elements on the other side of this ring body. It follows from this that when this part is separated, two nested winding carrier parts are created in the longitudinal center. Starting from this part that can be produced in a mold, two-part and multi-part winding carriers can thus be produced without requiring a further mold.
