Description

The invention relates to a collapsible tent frame made of light metal as a carrier of a conventional roof membrane formed from tarpaulin, the roof part of which consists of binders arranged perpendicular to the ridge course and horizontally to these purlins, the trusses and purlins being hollow profiles, and the purlins at least with a condensate collecting channel along them entire length, as well as the connections between two trusses and a purlin are fixed by generally angled hooking brackets attached to or in the two purlin ends, which engage in a hanging bracket attached to each truss.

The problem of condensate discharge from the collecting troughs or their evaporation is addressed, inter alia, by German patent 2136 566.

In the case of designs according to this document, it is provided that the condensate content of the channels enters the purlin, which is designed as a hollow profile and is closed on both sides, via openings arranged therein. The relatively large storage space created in this way generally prevents the condensate from dripping into the interior of the tent.

The evaporation of the condensate from the interior of the purlin through the openings, which is claimed in the context of the document, is not, however, to be regarded as fully realistic, since the amount of condensation can - at least periodically - be relatively high.

For this reason, the purlins have to be emptied many times when the tent is being dismantled, the weight of the purlins additionally burdened by condensation not always allowing easy handling of these components.

Another solution to this problem is proposed by the German utility model 7923460. This solution requires a very special design of the roof truss in such a way that it has water drainage channels on both sides below the attachment of the tarpaulin, water collecting channels being formed on the purlins arranged between two roof trusses, each of which leads into the area of at least one water drainage channel of a truss and opens into it. The additionally advocated suggestion to lay the purlins towards a water drainage channel with a slight slope is not particularly effective if the roof trusses are basically the same within a scaffold construction, because even with a horizontal arrangement of these condensate drainage channels, the water drainage into one of the drainage channels is always given to both binders.

A major disadvantage of this method, however, is the relatively expensive design of the binder, since it is drawn in on both sides to form the water drainage channels, i.e. must be deformed. Such training must be viewed as particularly cost-intensive.

Taking this situation into account, it is therefore the object of this invention to name a constructive design of the connection area between two trusses and a purlin within the framework of the demountable tent scaffold described at the outset, which enable simple drip-free drainage of the water accumulating in the condensate collecting channels of the purlins to the outside of the tent .

The solution to this problem according to the invention provides that in each case below the joint of the truss and the purlin on the truss, there is provided a receiving channel which is secured against leakage to the inside of the tent, the projection of which extends at right angles from the truss and the length of which extends the outlet area of the condensate collecting channel (s) of the purlin protrudes to a small extent, and that at least one opening leads into the interior of the binder from the boundary of the receiving groove directed towards the binder.

The proposed solution fully meets the task, since it does not require so-called collecting rooms for the condensed water and, on the other hand, does not require any special deformation of the binders for the purpose of forming drainage channels.

The proposal of collecting the water dripping from the ends of each condensate collecting channel of the purlin, which are open on both sides, in a channel which is kept relatively small in size and to be passed on through at least one opening into the cavity of the binder and via this to the outside of the tent, is safe and to consider inexpensive measures at the same time.

In order to form the receiving channel, it can be proposed that its longitudinal extension forms an arch opening towards the upper truss boundary, the ends bent up on both sides each forming an overflow closure for the receiving channel.

Irrespective of this, it can also be provided that the receiving channel in its longitudinal extension forms a straight U-profile that opens to the upper truss boundary and is closed on the sides.

The invention is explained in more detail by the attached drawing of an exemplary embodiment.
  • Figure 1 shows the butt of binder and purlin in elevation.
  • Figure 2 shows the butt of binder and purlin in the side view.
  • Figure 3 shows the assignment of binder and purlin in perspective.

The suspension bracket 4 and the purlin 2 are connected to the binder 1, the suspension bracket 3 being connected, the suspension bracket 3 reaching through the suspension bracket 4 when the purlin 2 is suspended and thus forming the suspension connection 3/4.

Below this hook connection is 3/4 the receiving channel 5 is arranged which, in the case of this example, forms an arch which opens 3/4 for the hook-in connection. The back flange of the receiving channel 5 directed towards the wall of the binder 1 is connected to this wall in a sealing manner.

At a short distance from the respective lateral limitation of the projection surface of the hook-in connection 3/4 on the receiving groove 5, openings 6 are provided on both sides in the cavity of the binder 1. The water running off the condensate collecting channels of the purlins 2 is taken up by the receiving channels 5 and discharged through the openings 6 and through the cavity of the inclined binder 1.

The overflow of the receptacles 5 into the interior of the tent is prevented by their bent ends.
