Abstract

1. A detachable light metal tent structure supporting a conventional roof covering formed of canvas, the roofing portion of which consists of girders disposed normal to the ridge and purlins extending horizontally thereto, with the girders and the purlins being hollow sections and the purlins being provided with at least one condensed water collecting channel along the entire length thereof, and with the connections between respectively two girders and one purlin being established by attaching flaps generally secured at an angle to or in the two purlin ends, which flaps engage an attaching bar secured to each girder, characterized in that provided respectively below the joint of girder (1) and purlin (2) on girder (1) is a collecting channel (5) leak-proof against the interior of the tent, the overhang of which rectangularly facing away from girder (1) and the length of which protrude by respectively a small amount beyond the discharge zone of the condensed water collecting channel or channels of purlin (2), and that at least one aperture leads from the delimitation of the collecting channel (5) directed toward girder (1), into the interior of girder (1).
