Abstract

1. Description

The present invention relates to the palletization of certain containers of corrugated cardboard or other material intended to be handled by different mechanical means, trolley arm, pallet transporter, elevator, etc.

There are many systems for palletizing containers. The latter can be placed on a wooden pallet or any other material, assembled or not previously by stapling, gluing, strapping, etc. There are also accessories that can be fixed in several ways under or through the floor of a container; plastic feet, cardboard, screwed or stapled, etc ..., tins breads like expanded polystyrene, glued etc ... All these devices only partially meet the requirements of users. Let us cite among other disadvantages; for the wooden pallet, its cost, its size, its weight with the considerable use of raw material. For the other systems one can encounter difficulties in their use on a rewinder or in their limitation to two entries instead of four etc ...

To overcome some of these drawbacks, it has already been proposed in the English patent application GB-A-2 007 194, to attach to the bottom of a container, a support element consisting of a sole (20) and studs (23) fixed to the ends of the sole, said sole being sandwiched between the outer and inner flaps (26) and the bottom of the container.

The container according to the present invention provides considerable improvements over known prior devices, in particular with regard to the simplicity of manufacture of the support elements, the ease of their installation, and the security of their locking once put in place. , and this thanks to particular cutouts of the outer flaps of the bottom of the container.

The subject of the invention is a folded cardboard container, on the bottom of which support elements have been added, leaving spaces between them allowing the forks of a pallet conveyor to pass, said support elements advantageously being formed by cross members. made of wood, composed of at least one sole (7) and two studs (4, 5) fixed to the ends of the sole, said crosspieces being strung in sandwich between the exterior and interior flaps (1), of the container bottom, said container being characterized in that the outer flaps have lateral flaps (2) folded to allow the sliding of the support elements, and lateral cutouts (3) in the extension of said flaps, said flaps being flattened to lock the elements- support in their final position located to the right of the cutouts (3).

The invention consists mainly in using the bottom flaps, overlapping or covering small or large, of a container of American box type. The dimensions of these elements are variable in all directions and in thickness.

Container of folded cardboard, to the base of which supporting elements have been added, spaces being provided between them to give passage to the forks of a pallet conveyor, the said supporting elements consisting of cross-pieces, preferably of wood, made up of at least one sole piece 7 and two studs 4, 5, affixed to the ends of the sole piece, the said cross-pieces being inserted sandwich-wise between the outer and the inner flaps 1 of the container base, the said container being characterized by the fact that the outer flaps have side edges 2 folded to enable the supporting elements to slide and lateral cut-outs 3 in the prolingation of the said folding edges, the said folding edges being returned to the flat position to enable the supporting elements to be locked in their final position situated on a level with the cut-outs 3.

2. Container in accordance with Claim 1, characterized by the fact that each cross-piece comprises one upper sole piece and two end studs.
