Abstract

To avoid or at least substantially reduce heat losses occurring with conventional registers ventilation, a register is disclosed which is assembled of two basic bodies supporting each a shutter and connected to each other through a thermally insulating layer. Preferably, the thermally insulating layer comprises insulating sectional strips and it is satisfactory to provide such strips only along the upper and lower longitudinal edges of the two basic bodies. The two shutters are coupled to each other so that they can be shifted conjointly from their closing to their open position and vice versa by means of a single drive mechanism.

Description

The invention relates to a slide ventilation, which usually consists of a base body and a slide mounted thereon, both of which have a plurality of ventilation openings, which are arranged next to one another in the sliding direction and are generally of the same size and between which cover webs are located. In one sliding end position, the webs of the base body are in front of the ventilation openings of the slide, so that no air can pass through. In the other sliding end position, the ventilation openings of the base body and the slide are congruent, so that a maximum air flow can take place. The ventilation effect is correspondingly lower in an intermediate sliding position.

The known slide vents generally consist of aluminum, with sections of corresponding aluminum profiles preferably being used for both the base body and the slide. The back and forth movement of the slide is generated with the aid of a gear attached to the base body, which preferably engages with its drive member in at least one of the slide ventilation openings.

Aluminum is known to be a good heat conductor, and therefore such screen vents cause significant heat loss.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a slide ventilation in which this heat loss is significantly reduced.

To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention that the slide ventilation is characterized by two base bodies connected to one another via an insulation layer, on each of which a ventilation slide is mounted. Because of this insulation layer, the cold bridge present in the previously known slide vents does not occur, and as a result has the Slider ventilation according to the invention a significantly lower heat loss than the previously known. In addition, an air cushion forms in the space between the two base bodies or, in the case of internal sliders between the two slides, provided that they are closed, which further complicates the heat exchange between the warmer interior and the colder exterior. In addition, the draft air development observed in the known slide ventilation tunnels in the slide ventilation according to the invention is at least largely eliminated due to this air cushion. In view of these advantages and in particular the high energy costs, the somewhat higher manufacturing costs of this slide ventilation easily take a back seat.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the ventilation slides are coupled to one another and can be displaced simultaneously and in the same direction by means of a common drive, so that in each case both slides are in the fully open or the completely closed sliding position. The same applies of course to the intermediate positions.

A further embodiment of the invention provides that the insulation layer is in the form of a strip or in the manner of a profile strip and that at least one strip or one profile strip is located at least between the two longitudinal edges of the base body. At the two transverse edges you can, if necessary, use the drive on the one hand and a seal On the other hand, make the end piece, with the corresponding insulation intermediate layers preventing cold bridges at these two points.

A preferred further development of a slide ventilation with insulation profile strips is characterized in that the insulation profile strips are connected to the two base bodies in a snap-locking or latching manner. This not only simplifies assembly, but also maintenance and repair. In addition, the manufacturing costs can be kept low if you have the locking or snap elements on the base body on the one hand. and the insulation profile strips on the other hand molded, injected or fastened in a comparable manner.

Further advantageous configurations of the slide ventilation unit according to the invention result from the following description of an exemplary embodiment.

rie Zeichnung zeigt ein derartiges Ausführungsbeispiel anhand eines vertikalen Querschnitts durch eine horizontale Schieberlüftung.rie drawing shows such an embodiment using a vertical cross section through a horizontal slide ventilation.

The slide ventilation essentially consists of the two basic bodies 1 and 2 and the sliders 3 or, respectively, mounted thereon, displaceable perpendicularly to the image plane, and the two insulating profile strips 5 and 6, which form the two basic bodies 1 and 2 connect with each other to form a heat insulating layer 7. On the two narrow sides of the slide opening, the chamber is closed by means of end pieces, not shown, one of which can be designed as a drive. the latter is connected to the two internal sliders 3 and 4 or a coupling piece inserted between the two, so that the sliders can be moved simultaneously and in the same direction. In the embodiment, the slide 3 with conventional, approximately rectangular ventilation slots? provided, while the slide has 4 ventilation openings, which consist of groups of small ventilation holes 9. These groups in turn consist of longitudinal and transverse rows of the small ventilation holes, whose overall space requirement corresponds approximately to that of a ventilation slot 10 of the base body 2. Between the ventilation slots 10 or the ventilation openings of the slide 4 are webs, the dimensions of which correspond approximately to those of the ventilation slots 10.

In the exemplary embodiment, the ventilation slots of the base body 1 are divided into three due to two webs 11 and 12, with one leg of two angular weather strips 13 and 14 being attached to the two webs in each case with the slightly inclined, outwardly extending leg. There is a further weather strip 16 above the uppermost ventilation partial slot 15, to which a stiffening angle 17 directly adjoins. In addition, a drip nose 18 is formed on the lower end of each ventilation slot. At its bottom Länpsrand 19, the base body 1 carries an angular, preferably rectangular glass pane stop 20. Because of this design, this slide ventilation is suitable for placement on a pane, preferably insulating glass pane, ie this slide ventilation is intended for installation in a glass rebate. However, it is in no way limited to this and, due to slight modifications, in particular at the upper and lower longitudinal edges, it can also be used as a conventional frame ventilation or slide ventilation for a wall breakthrough.

Weise hintergreifen. The two base bodies 1 and 2 are, as already stated, connected to one another via an insulation layer, which is intended to prevent or at least complicate the heat transfer from one base body to the other, and which in the exemplary embodiment consists of the two insulation profile strips 5 and 6 at the top and bottom Longitudinal edge of the two basic bodies. As can be seen from the drawing, these are designed and designed in a very special way. In addition, there is a snap or latching connection between each of the two base bodies 1 and 2 and the insulating profile strips 5 and 6 located between them. For this purpose, there are U-shaped latching receptacles 21 and 22 or 23 and 24 on the upper and lower longitudinal edges of both base bodies in cross section - Profile bar 5 or 6 engaged. At the free ends of the U-legs of the latching receptacles and the latching members, latching beads are molded, which are shown in the drawing. Reach out wisely.

For the two sliders 3 and 4 known, not shown guides arr basic body 1 or 2 can be provided. Additionally or alternatively, you can have their insides rest against sealing strips 29, 30 or 31, 32. In the exemplary embodiment, these are preferably formed in one piece with the two. ten and mirror-inverted insulation profile strips 5 and 6 made. Their level is inclined to that of the slider 3 or 4 and their task is to push the slider against the inner surface of their base body, thereby improving their joint tightness. As a result, they must have sufficient inherent elasticity. On the other hand, their adjacent sealing lips are subject to a certain amount of friction when opening and closing this slide ventilation and, as a result, they must be comparatively resistant at least in this area. For this reason, it is proposed in a further embodiment of the invention that each sealing strip 29, 30; 31, 32 is designed as a so-called hard-soft sealing strip, its free end 33, which rests on the slide, is made of hard material and its articulation end or its remaining part is made of softer material with appropriate elasticity. Above all, it is thought that the adjacent sealing strip edge 33 is somewhat thickened, in particular approximately circular in cross section.

The U center pieces of the two latching members 25, 28 and 26, 27 are connected to one another by means of a web 34 or 35 which is approximately T-shaped in cross section, preferably made in one piece. The T-crosspiece 36 and 37 each form a support for the sealing strips 29 and 32 or 30 and 31 arranged on both sides, in particular their free strip edges 33. This embodiment enables separate guides on the base bodies 1 and 2 for their slides 3 or 4 to waive.

The two insulating profile strips 5 and 6 have a plurality of fastening bores 38 which are arranged at a lateral spacing and are aligned with corresponding bores 39 and 40 or other openings in the two base bodies 1 and 2, respectively. In addition, the axes of the mounting holes 38 lie in the central planes of the U-shaped latching members 25 to 28. When a stiffening angle 17 is arranged, its vertical leg has a hole 41 which is also aligned with the other holes mentioned. As a result, the slide ventilation according to the invention can be screwed onto an element (not shown), for example a window frame or the like, via all these bores. The end of the mounting holes 36 assigned to the base body 2 is widened and receives the screw head. So that the screw is kept heat insulated, so that also in Area of these fasteners no cold bridges arise. The countersink is indicated at 42. Each of the two insulating profile strips 5 and 6 has on its outer longitudinal edge a fastening groove 43 and 44, in particular approximately angular in cross section, for a glass pane stop, not shown. This also achieves thermal separation in this area and advantageous training in terms of the task.

The special design of the slide 4 already prevents the intrusion of flies and other vermin, but one or two fly screens, not shown, which are fastened in a known manner in the region of the slide, can additionally be attached. This is particularly true when the slider 4 is provided with rectangular ventilation slots in a conventional manner.
