Abstract

1. A bracket for a safety device to be fixed on an external wall (1) of a building (2), which device, for example a gangway, railing, or a simple protection net, comprises : - at least two brackets (3) ; - elements (42) for connecting the brackets (3) to one another ; - and a framework (26) suitable for supporting a protection net (27), which framework (26) is supported by the brackets (3) by mean of at least two feet each of which is articulated to the rear of a bracket (3) ; each bracket being, on the one hand, formed by a horizontal beam (4), an upright (5), and a strut (6) rigidly assembled with one another and, on the other hand, provided on its upright (5) both, at its upper part, with a means (8) for fixing to the wall (1) and, at its lower part, with a block (14) bearing against a fixed point with respect to the said wall (1) ; this bracket (3) being characterized in that for this association of the foot on its rear part it comprises in combination : - a sheath (24) accommodating the said foot ; and - a joint (22) for the articulation of the said sheath (24) about a horizontal axis (23) parallel to the wall (1).

Description

The invention relates to a console of safety devices such as walkways, guardrails and protective nets as well as to these devices including such consoles and more particularly but not exclusively to such devices designed to be fixed to a wall exterior of a construction, in order to facilitate its realization and / or maintenance. Footbridges with railings are already known, but they are then more particularly intended for large constructions and heavy prefabrication because they are in one piece or complex assembly and that their handling from one anchoring means to another for fixing them requires a powerful lifting device which is not always available.

To be used in construction sites of all sizes, the invention relates to devices formed by assembling portable elements by each member of staff.

Furthermore, to avoid the immobilization of specialized equipment, these devices must preferably be able to be suitable for fulfilling several functions, and this, alone or concurently and for example to form a simple protective net or to form a gangway provided with a guardrail and / or a protective net.

A result which the invention aims to obtain is a portable console provided with mounting accessories such as from at least very portable elements it allows the realization of safety devices that can fulfill several different functions, individually or concurrently.

Another result of the invention is such a console and such a safety device allowing, safely and from a gangway, to mount the protective net adjoining this gangway as well as to anchor another gangway to a higher level as a result of the evolution of construction and work, despite the large distance generally existing between two successive levels.

To this end, the subject of the invention is a console of the type mentioned above, in particular characterized in that, for this association of the foot on its rear, it comprises, in combination:

• - a sheath housing the said foot and,
• - A clevis of articulation of said sheath around a horizontal axis and parallel to the wall.

It also relates to the security device comprising such consoles.

It will be clearly understood with the aid of the description given below, by way of nonlimiting example, with regard to the attached drawing which represents the console and the device in profile view.

Referring to the drawing, it can be seen that on the outer wall 1 of a wall 2 is fixed a console 3.

This console 3 is formed of a horizontal beam 4 of an upright 5 and a counter-plug 6 rigidly assembled together. To the upper front part of an upright 5 is fixed a sheath 7, the front face of which carries a plate 8 pierced with a passage for a fixing member 9 in an anchoring means 10 integrated into the construction.

For certain assemblies, in particular under a construction overhang, in the sleeve 7 can be engaged, then blocked in translation by a pin 11, an extension 12 terminated at its upper part by a plate 13 similar to the aforementioned plate 8.

Thus suspended from its anchoring means 9, the console 3 has its par lower tie which bears on the external wall 1 of the wall by a shoe 14 secured to a horizontal stand 15 engaged in a sleeve 16 secured to the base of the upright 5 and locked in translation by a pin 17.

In the case where the construction has a bay 18 facing the skate, the skate 14 then has the shape of a fork, gripping any crosspiece supported on the walls on each side of the bay, preferably a forestay 19 arc- braced between the top and bottom or side tables of the bay on which it preferably rests by means of wedges 20 immobilizing it in translation in the direction of the thrust of the shoe 14.

On a part of the beam 4 of this console 3 and of the neighboring consoles, a floor 21 can then be placed.

At its rear part, the beam 4 is associated with the counter-plug 6 by gussets 22 making both a clevis hinge of a sheath 24, around an axis 23 horizontal and parallel to the wall, that a barrel blocking sector 24 in two different angular positions, one (shown in phantom) substantially vertical, the other (shown in solid solid lines) inclined, this blocking preferably taking place using a pin 25; this sheath is intended to receive one of the feet of a frame 26 in the form of a hoop or frame, supporting the protective net 27, which frame is also locked, for example using pins 28.

The beam 4 still has two sleeves 29, 30, one 29 at the rear of the beam and this, just below the zone of movement of the articulated sheath 24, the other 30 at the front of said beam 4.

The sleeve 29 temporarily houses an upright 31 of the guardrail 32 allowing the fitting of the net 27 in complete safety. This railing 32 can then be removed to release this sleeve 29 which, with the other sleeve 30, can then receive an end railing 33 directly or after interposition of a scaffolding extension 34 receiving in turn a floor 34.

These temporary railings, end railings and re increases are obviously locked in the sleeves, for example using pins 36, 37.

Thanks to the articulation of the rear sheath 24, the protective net can be straightened (representation in phantom) to serve as a guardrail during the use of the riser 34 which has the advantage of creating an intermediate bearing for the work but also greatly facilitate the mounting operations of another gateway to the next higher level.

In order to guarantee the rigidity of the assembly, the brackets are braced by bars 42 and 43 and may also have means 38, 39 for fixing triangulation bars 40.

In the case where the installation of a floor would be useless and it would suffice for a protective net 41, this can then extend from the top of the framework 26 to extensions 44 of the uprights 5 of consoles 3.

Claims (6)

1. Safety device console intended to be fixed to an exterior wall (1) of a construction (2), which device, such as a gangway, a railing or a simple protective net, comprises: - at least two consoles (3) each, on the one hand, formed by a horizontal beam (4), an upright (5) and a strut (6) rigidly assembled together and, on the other part, provided on its upright (5), both at its upper part, with a means (8) for fixing to the wall (1), and at its lower part, with a pad (14) for support on a fixed point relative to said wall (1), - any elements (42) connecting the consoles (3) together, - And, a frame (26) capable of supporting a protective net (27), which frame (26) is carried by the brackets (3) using at least two feet (26) each associated with the rear of a console (3),
this console being CHARACTERIZED in that, for this association of the foot (26) on its rear, it comprises, in combination, - a sheath (24) housing said foot (26) and, - A yoke (22) of articulation of said sheath (24) about an axis (23) horizontal and parallel to the wall (1). 2.
