Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a gutter nozzle as a transition piece between gutter and downpipe, consisting of a funnel-shaped inlet and funnel-shaped outlet nozzle, with a tab attached to the gutter water fold and on the building side attached to the opening edge of the inlet nozzle and a method for its production.
Since the cross-section of the downpipe is the decisive factor for the safe drainage of rainwater when dimensioning the roof drainage, the design of the gutter connection as a transition piece between gutter and downpipe is of particular importance. The calculation for the dimensioning of the downpipes is generally based on a funnel-shaped gutter nozzle with an oval opening in cross-section, as is known in the trade under the term inclined and straight gutter nozzle and standardized according to DIN 18 461 and whose inlet opening is approximately 30% larger than the downpipe cross section. In the case of a straight gutter connection, the conical plug-in connection, which has a circular opening and forms a constricting plug-in connection which forms the outlet connection, is connected to the funnel-shaped inlet connection, while the conical, circular connection is used for the oblique gutter connection Inlet opening having an opening is formed at an angle of 40 °. On the upper opening edge of the gutter socket there is a tab on the customer for hanging the gutter nozzle over the gutter water fold and on the customer side there is another tab for hanging in the gutter bead.
It is disadvantageous that a straight gutter connection can only be used for straight outgoing pipes and an inclined gutter connection can only be used for inclined downpipes.
It is the object of the present invention to design a gutter connection of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it can be used both for straight and for inclined downpipes.
The solution to this problem is that the end regions of the inlet and outlet connections are designed as insertion connections for the subsequent downpipe, the conicity of which corresponds to the conicity of the downpipe to be plugged on.
The transition area between the inlet and outlet nozzles is soft, preferably rounded with a radius of R 40 to 80.
The jacket lines of the inlet and outlet connections are expediently parabolic in the area of the overlapping connecting seams of the two gutter neck half-shells and conical in the area on the building side or on the building side.
The advantages achieved with the gutter neck designed according to the invention are that at straight Outlet the subsequent downpipe on the lower end area of the outlet connection, while in the case of an inclined outlet, the downstream downpipe can be plugged onto the lower end area of the inlet connection. With a straight outlet, the following downpipe has a cylindrical shape, while with an inclined outlet, the downpipe can have both cylindrical and conical shape.
If the spout should interfere with the inclined arrangement of the gutter, it is possible to cut it off.
A gutter socket is produced in such a way that gutter socket half-shells are formed in one step from two blanks of the same cut, then plugged together to form the gutter socket and soldered or welded to one another at their overlapping longitudinal edges. By appropriately cutting the tabs to length, it is possible to position the channel connector either straight or at an angle.
In the case of a straight gutter socket, the tab that can be hooked into the gutter bead is shorter by approximately the height difference between the gutter bead and the water rebate. By a correspondingly extended design of the tab that can be hung in the channel bead and at the same time shortening the tab that can be hooked in via the channel water fold, it is possible to incline the channel connector from> 0 to 50 °.
