Grundsätzlich sind aber auch andere Formen für die Umhüllung denkbar. Ist beispielsweise die Schlagschutzverkleidung in Form einer Haube auf eine Metallfassung aufgesetzt, umgibt zweckmäßigerweise auch die Umhüllung die Verkleidung haubenförmig, wobei dann allerdings noch für eine zusätzliche Wärmeisolierung der nichtumhüllten Metallfassung gesorgt sein muß.The covering advantageously has a shape similar to the shape of the impact protection cladding. Analoge Bauteile sind in beiden Figuren mit denselben Bezugszeichen versehen. Zur Beleuchtung von Kühlmöbeln ist eine Leuchtstofflampe 1 vorgesehen. Die Leuchtstofflampe steckt in einer Feuchtraumfassung 2. Die Leuchtstofflampe 1 ist von einer koaxial zur Lampe 1 angeordneten Schlagschutzverkleidung 3 umgeben. Erfindungsgemäß ist mit Abstand zur Schlagschutzverkleidung 3 koaxial zu dieser eine lichtdurchlässige luftdichte Umhüllung 4 angeordnet, die zusammen mit der Schlagschutzverkleidung 3 einen ringförmigen Raum um die Leuchtstofflampe bildet, der mit einer Dichtung 5 luftdicht verschlossen ist. Mit einer Dichtung 6 ist das System Leuchtstofflampe/Schlagschutzverkleidung/Umhüllung dicht mit der Feuchtraumfassung 2 verbunden und gegen den Außenraum abgedichtet. Der ringförmige Raum zwischen Schlagschutzverkleidung 3 und Umhüllung 4 bildet eine Wärmeisolierung für die Leuchtstofflampe 1. Durch die Eigenwärme der Leuchtstofflampe 1 wird an der Lampe die für die Erreichung der vollen Leuchtkraft erforderliche Temperatur erzeugt. Zur Erhöhung der wärmeisolierenden Wirkung kann in dem ringförmigen Raum ein Unterdruck hergestellt und/ oder eine Gasfüllung mit kleinerer Wärmeleitfähigkeit als Luft vorgesehen sein. Mit 7 ist ein Distanzring zur Montageerleichterung bezeichnet.
