Abstract
La invención se refiere al campo de las biopelículas naturales para prolongar la frescura de los alimentos y ralentizar la maduración y pérdida de agua. En particular, los solicitantes han proporcionado sorprendentemente una composición de recubrimiento conservante comestible para frutas, verduras, flores cortadas o semillas después de la cosecha en forma de una emulsión de aceite en agua (Ac/Ag) y su uso como biopelícula para prolongar la frescura y/o ralentizar la maduración y/o pérdida de agua de frutas, verduras, flores cortadas o semillas después de la cosecha.
