Abstract

La presente invención provee un sistema de liberación de fármacos que comprende al menos un compartimiento conformado por (i) un centro de polímero termoplástico cargado con fármacos, (ii) una capa intermedia de polímero termoplástico cargada con fármacos y (iii) una cubierta de polímero termoplástico no medicada que cubre la capa intermedia, en donde dicha capa intermedia está cargada con (a) cristales de un primer compuesto farmacéuticamente activo y con (b) un segundo compuesto farmacéuticamente activo en forma disuelta y en donde dicho centro está cargado con dicho segundo compuesto en forma disuelta.
