Abstract
Настоящее изобретение относится к матричному материалу для безопасного промежуточного хранения и/или захоронения радиоактивных отходов, состоящего из графита и по меньшей мере одного неорганического связующего. Известные в настоящее время материалы не обеспечивают безопасное захоронение радиоактивных материалов на протяжении периода более 10 млн лет. Матричный материал и изготовленные из него блоки пригодны для безопасного внедрения и захоронения радиоактивных отходов на протяжении более длительного периода времени, чем указанный выше. Кроме того, блоки из матричного материала с включёнными в них радиоактивными отходами могут легко изготавливаться.
