Abstract

Оксиды серы удаляются из кислородсодержащего кислого газа в устройствах и способами, в которых кислород удаляется из кислого газа с использованием восстановительных газов при относительно высокой температуре. Обработанный таким образом кислый газ затем подается в реактор прямого восстановления, в котором соединения серы превращаются до элементарной серы. Рассматриваемые установки особенно эффективны и экономически привлекательны, поскольку они в основном не ограничены равновесием реакции, которое присутствует в реакции Клауса, и не требуют растворителя и оборудования, связанного с растворителем.
