Abstract

Процесс стимулирования микробного производства метана в нефтеносной подземной формации, состоящий из: (а) анализа одного или нескольких компонентов формации для определения характеристик среды формации; (b) обнаружения присутствия микробного консорциума, содержащего по меньшей мере один вид метанпродуцирующих микроорганизмов в пределах формации; (c) оценки, являются ли микроорганизмы формации активными в настоящее время; (d) определения, содержит ли данный микробный консорциум один или несколько видов метантрофических микроорганизмов; (e) определения характеристик одного или нескольких видов микроорганизмов консорциума, по меньшей мере одного из членов консорциума, являющихся метанпродуцирующими микроорганизмами, и сравнения членов консорциума по меньшей мере с одним известным видом микроорганизмов, имеющим одну или несколько известных физиологических и экологических характеристик; (f) определения характеристик одного или нескольких видов метантрофических микроорганизмов консорциума (если присутствуют) и сравнение членов консорциума по меньшей мере с одним видом известных микроорганизмов, имеющим одну или несколько известных физиологических или экологических характеристик; (g) использования информации, полученной на стадиях (а)-(е) для определения экологической среды, которая способствует in situ микробному разложению нефтепродуктов и микробному образованию метана с помощью по меньшей одного вида метанпродуцирующих микроорганизмов консорциума; (h) использования информации, полученной на стадиях (а)-(f), если присутствуют метантрофические микроорганизмы, для определения экологической среды, подавляющей in situ микробное
