Abstract

Описывается носитель записи (1), содержащий серводорожку (4), указывающую информационную дорожку (9), предназначенную для записи блоков информации, представленных метками, имеющими длины, выраженные в канальных битах, причем серводорожка (4) имеет периодическую вариацию физического параметра. Периодическая вариация модулируется для кодировки информации носителя записи, например адреса. Модуляция является двухфазной модуляцией, в которой бит данных информации носителя записи кодируется первым заранее определенным числом вариаций первой фазы, сопровождаемых тем же числом вариаций второй фазы, противоположной первой фазе. Устройство записи и/или воспроизведения имеет демодулятор для извлечения битов данных информации носителя записи из первого предопределенного числа вариаций первой фазы, сопровождаемых тем же числом вариаций второй фазы, противоположной первой фазе.Международная заявка была опубликована вместе с отчетом о международном поиске.
