Abstract

Описан носитель записи, имеющий серво-дорожку (4), указывающую на информационную дорожку (9), предназначенную для записи информационных блоков. В серво-дорожке (4) обеспечено периодическое изменение физического параметра с заранее определенной частотой и имеются модулированные части для кодирования информации о положении с регулярными интервалами. Модулированные части начинаются с элемента побитовой синхронизации и представляют тип данных, имеющий элемент бита данных, или тип пословной синхронизации, имеющий элемент пословной синхронизации. Элемент пословной синхронизации и элемент бита данных модулируют в соответствии с одним и тем же заранее определенным типом модуляции периодического изменения. Эффективная мощность модулированного элемента представляет собой количество периодических изменений, которые существенно отличаются и доступны для обнаружения упомянутого элемента. Эффективная мощность элемента пословной синхронизации и эффективная мощность элемента бита данных равны.
