Abstract
Arrangement for a manure dryer with a drying chamber 5 and a heat chamber 3 situated underneath, where there is arranged an agitator 7 with an agitation arm designed to rest against the bottom wall 6 of the drying chamber. In order to make sure that the agitator arm 9 rests against and engages with the bottom wall 6, a pretensioning device 30 is installed and/or the bottom wall 6 is freely supported on a strip 12 at its peripheral portion, since the diameter of the bottom wall is less than the diameter of the drying chamber 5, so that there is room for the bottom wall to expand upon heating. A condensation arrangement 20 is installed to condense the gas and steam produced by the drying. An evacuation blower 22, 23 forces the gas and steam to the condensation arrangement, from which water of condensation and residual gas go to a collection chamber 26. From the collection chamber 26 there extends a pipeline 27 to the heat chamber, whose heating arrangement is a burner 4 for fossil fuel. The residual gas is thus burned in the heat chamber. <IMAGE>
