Abstract
1. Hot-air furnace for solid fuels having an essentially cylindrical combustion chamber (1), arranged in lying position, the shell casing of which is partially formed by pipe elbows (2) extending in the circumferential direction and arranged identically one after another, which pipe elbows project on the outside at the top and the bottom and are open at their upper and lower ends, and furthermore, the combustion chamber (1) has at its front end wall (8) a fire door and (9) in the upper region of its rear end wall (2) a flue gas extractor (12) and has a deflection device (13) which extends from the rear end wall (11) of the combustion chamber into the front region of the combustion chamber, characterized in that tuyeres (18), introducing secondary air, are arranged in front of or above the deflection device (13), which tuyeres are arranged on pipe sections (21) which are introduced with their inlet ends (22) into two of the pipe elbows (2) arranged on both sides of the combustion chamber (1).
