Claims (8)
1. Plantecellekerne med stabilt integreret, rekombinant DNA, hvor det rekom-binante DNA omfatter en promoter, der er funktionel i plantecellen, og som er operabelt forbundet med et protein-kodende DNA, der koder for en aminosy-resekvens med mindst 90 % sekvensidentitet i den fulde længde af SEQ ID NO: 1018, hvor transgene planter med det rekombinante DNA i kernerne har en øget varmetolerance sammenlignet med kontrolplanter, der ikke har det rekombinante DNA i kernerne.
2. Rekombinant DNA-konstrukt, som omfatter en promotor, der er funktionel i plantecellen, og som er operabelt forbundet med et protein-kodende DNA, der koder for en aminosyresekvens med mindst 90 % sekvensidentitet i den fulde længde af SEQ ID NO: 1018, hvor transgene planter med det rekombinante DNA i kernerne har en øget varmetolerance sammenlignet med kontrolplanter, der ikke har det rekombinante DNA i kernerne.
3. Plantecellekerne ifølge krav 1, som omfatter det rekombinante DNA-kon-strukt, der omfatter en promoter, der er funktionel i plantecellen, og som er operabelt forbundet med et protein-kodende DNA, der koder for en aminosyresekvens med mindst 90 % sekvensidentitet i den fulde længde af SEQ ID NO: 1018, yderligere omfattende DNA, der eksprimerer et protein, der tilvejebringer tolerance over for ukrudtsmiddel til plantecellen.
4. Plantecellekerne ifølge krav 3, hvor midlet i ukrudtsmidlet er en glyphosat-, dicamba- eller glufosinatforbindelse.
5. Transgent frø, omfattende en flerhed af planteceller med en plantecellekerne, omfattende et rekombinant DNA-konstrukt, der omfatter en promoter, der er funktionel i plantecellen, og som er operabelt forbundet med et proteinkodende DNA, der koder for en aminosyresekvens med mindst 90 % sekvensidentitet i den fulde længde af SEQ ID NO: 1018, hvor transgene planter med det rekombinante DNA i kernerne har en øget varmetolerance sammenlignet med kontrolplanter, der ikke har det rekombinante DNA i kernerne.
6. Transgent frø ifølge krav 5, der kan anvendes til at fremstille en afgrøde af transgene planter som resultat af ekspression af rekombinant DNA i en kerne, omfattende et rekombinant DNA-konstrukt, der omfatter en promoter, som er funktionel i plantecellen, og som er operabelt forbundet med et protein-kodende DNA, der koder for en aminosyresekvens med mindst 90 % sekvensidentitet i den fulde længde af SEQ ID NO: 1018, hvor det transgene frø kan opnås ved en fremgangsmåde omfattende: (a) at screene en population af planter for det rekombinante DNA, (b) at udvælge fra populationen en eller flere planter, der indeholder det rekombinante DNA, og (c) at indsamle frø fra planter, der er udvalgt i trin (b).
7. Transgent frø ifølge krav 6, hvor fremgangsmåden til at fremstille det transgene frø yderligere omfatter (d) verificering af, at det rekombinante DNA er stabilt integreret i den udvalgte plante, og (e) analyse af væv fra den udvalgte plante for at bestemme ekspressionen eller suppressionen af et protein med funktion af et protein med en aminosyresekvens af SEQ ID NO: 1018.
8. Transgent frø ifølge krav 5 eller 6, hvor frøet er udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af majs-, sojabønne-, bomulds-, alfalfa-, raps-, hvede- og risfrø.
