Claims (8)

1. Anvendelse af en corynebakteriestamme til fremstilling af xanthosin-5'-monophosphat, hvor corynebakteriestammen har en malatdehydrogenase-aktivitet, der er højere end sin endogene vildtypeaktivitet, ved at øge antallet af mqo-geneksemplarer, der koder malatdehydrogenasen, eller ved at erstatte eller modificere en promotor af et mqo-gen.
2. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1, hvor malatdehydrogenaseaktiviteten er forbedret som et resultat af en øgning i mqo-genekspression.
3. Anvendelse ifølge krav 2, hvor mqo-genet har SEQ ID NO: 7.
4. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1, hvor stammen er transformeret med en rekom-binant vektor omfattende et mqo-gen.
5. Anvendelse ifølge krav 4, hvor mqo-genet har SEQ ID NO: 7.
6. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1, hvor corynebakteriestammen er corynebakterie-ammoniakgener.
7. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af xanthosin-5'-monophosphat, omfattende at dyrke en corynebakteriestamme med en malatdehydrogenaseaktivitet, der er højere end dens endogene vildtypeaktivitet, ved at øge antallet af mqo-geneksemplarer, der koder malatdehydrogenasen, eller ved at erstatte eller modificere en promotor af et mqo-gen; og at opnå xanthosin-5'-monophosphat ud fra kulturen.
8. Corynebakterie-ammoniakgenstamme med øget xanthosin-5'-monophos-phat-produktivitet, hvilken har en malatdehydrogenaseaktivitet, der er højere end dens endogene vildtypeaktivitet, ved at øge antallet af mqo-geneksemplarer, der koder malatdehydrogenasen, eller ved at erstatte eller modificere en promotor af et mqo-gen.
