Claims (8)
1. Anvendelse af en sammensætning til coating af levnedsmidler, hvor sammensætningen er en opløsning af shellak i en alkohol, hvor sammensætningen omfatter: - mellem 1 og 35 vægt% shellak; - mellem 0 og 50 vægt% terpen(er); - mellem 15 og 99 vægt% opløsningsmiddel, som er udvalgt blandt alkoholer; og - mellem 0,1 og 10 vægt% base; til anvendelse af mellem 1 og 10 liter af sammensætningen per ton levnedsmiddel, fortrinsvis mellem 2 og 5 liter/t.
2. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1, hvor opløsningsmidlet er ethylalkohol eller propylalkohol.
3. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor opløsningsmidlet er ethylalkohol.
4. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor terpen (terpenerne) er udvalgt blandt pinener og limonen.
5. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor basen er udvalgt blandt ammoniak, soda, potaske, aminer.
6. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor basen ligger mellem 1 % og 5%.
7. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor sammensætningen er en sammensætning af shellak og base i ethylalkohol, eventuelt i tilstedeværelse af limonen.
8. Anvendelse til coating af frugter ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor sammensætningen omfatter: - 9 vægt% shellak; - 89 vægt% ethylalkohol; - 2 vægt% ammoniak.
