Claims (11)
1. Fremgangsmåde til styring af en fluidstrøm mellem et ventillegeme (20) og en flerhed af kamre, hvor ventillegemet omfatter en flerhed af udvendige åbninger (42, 46, 110, 112), et fluidforskydningskammer (50, 108) og et fluid-prøvebehandlingsområde (30, 110), hvor fluidforskydningskammeret er flui-disk kontinuerligt koblet med fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet (30, 110), der er fluidisk koblet med mindst to af de udvendige åbninger (42, 46, 110, 112), kendetegnet ved, at flerheden af kamre er i et hus (12, 102), og fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) og fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet (30, 110) er to separate områder, der er indeholdt i ventillegemet, og fremgangsmåden omfatter: (a) at indstille ventillegemet (20) i forhold til huset (12, 102) til anbringelse af en udvendig åbning i selektiv fluidforbindelse med et første kammer af flerheden af kamre i huset; (b) at reducere trykket i fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) for at indsuge fluid fra det første kammer til fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108); (c) at indstille ventillegemet (20) i forhold til huset (12, 102) til anbringelse af en udvendig åbning og fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) i selektiv fluidforbindelse med et andet kammer af flerheden af kamre i huset (12,102); og (d) at tryksætte fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) for at udstøde fluid fra fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) til det anden kammer.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor det første kammer vælges fra gruppen bestående af et prøvekammer, et vaskekammer, et lysiskammer, et master-mixkammer og en reaktionsbeholder, og hvor det andet kammer er et spildkammer.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller krav 2, hvor ventillegemet endvidere omfatter et fluidforskydningselement (54, 106, 210), der er anbragt i fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) til indstilling af fluidforskydningskammerets volumen, hvor trinnet med at reducere trykket i fluidforskydningskammeret indebærer at bevæge fluidforskydningselementet (54, 106, 210) for at forøge fluidforskydningskammerets (50, 108) volumen, og trinnet med at tryksætte fluidforskydningskammeret indebærer at bevæge fluidforskydningselementet (54, 106, 210) for at reducere fluidforskydningskammerets (50, 108) volu- men.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor trinnet med at indsuge fluid i fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) går uden om fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet (30, 110).
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet (30, 110) er placeret mellem fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) og mindst en af de udvendige åbninger (42, 46, 110, 112), hvor trinnet med at udstøde fluid fra fluidforskydningskammeret driver fluiden gennem fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet, før det strømmer ind i det andet kammer.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 5, hvor fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet (30, 110) endvidere omfatter et fangelement (27) til opfangning af bestanddele af fluidprøven.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, omfattende et yderligere trin, der følger efter trin (d), hvor ventillegemet (20) indstilles i forhold til huset (12, 102) for fluidisk at isolere fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) og fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet (30, 110) fra flerheden af kamre i huset.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7, endvidere omfattende trinnet med at tryksætte fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) efter indstilling af ventillegemet til fluidisk at isolere fluidforskydningskammeret og fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet fra flerheden af kamre.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 8, hvor systemet endvidere omfatter et sonisk element (76), der er funktionsforbundet med en udvendig afdækning (28) af fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet (30, 110), hvor fremgangsmåden endvidere omfatter trinnet med at overføre sonisk energi til fluidprøvebehandlingsområdet (30, 110) for at fremme lysering af prøvebestanddelene.
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor systemet endvidere omfatter en overgangskanal (56), og flerheden af kamre i huset omfatter et mastermixkammer og en reaktionsbeholder, hvor fremgangsmåden endvidere omfatter trinnet med (i) at indstille ventillegemet (20) til at anbringe overgangskanalen (56) i fluidforbindelse med mastermixkam-meret og reaktionsbeholderen og (ii) at reducere trykket i fluidforskydningskammeret (50, 108) for at indsuge fluid fra mastermixkammeret gennem overgangskanalen (56) til reaktionsbeholderen.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor ventillegemet er et rotationsventillegeme, og fremgangsmåden omfatter trinnet med at rotere ventillegemet omkring en akse og i forhold til flerheden af kamre, således at de udvendige åbninger (42, 46, 110, 112) kan anbringes i selektiv fluidforbindelse med flerheden af kamre.
