Opfindelsen angår en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et forbindelsessted til varmeisolerede ledningsrør, der består af et medieførende inderrør, fortrinsvis af stål, et inder-røret omgivende varmeisolerende lag af opskummet plast, for-5 trinsvis polyurethan, og et yderlag af plast, ved hvilken fremgangsmåde de af opskummet plast frie ender af inderrørene sammensvejses, og forbindelsesstedet dækkes af en plastmuffe med langsgående slids, hvilken muffe svejses til enderne af yderlagene og i området af den langsgående slids og i over-10 lapningsområdet af de tværgående kanter ved hjælp af et bånd, der kan opvarmes ad elektrisk vej ved hjælp af en varmetråd, idet det ringformede mellemrum mellem de sammensvejsede inderrør og muffen fyldes med skum.
Til transport af opvarmede eller afkølede medier, især i for-15 bindeIse med fjernvarme, er det kendt at anvende kombinationsrør, eksempelvis forisolerede rør af en længde på f.eks.
6 eller 12 m, og som ved montagestedet forbindes til den egentlige rørstreng. Udragende ender af de indre rør sammensvejses, og forbindelsesstedet dækkes af en muffe, der ligger 20 på yderkappen af de rør, der skal forbindes. Det ringformede mellemrum mellem muffen og inderrøret fyldes derefter med skumplast. En sådan muffeforbindelse har hidtil været et svagt punkt af en fjernvarmeledning, eftersom fugt, eksempelvis fra jordbunden, vil kunne trænge ind i det ringformede 25 mellemrum mellem det indre og det ydre rør og ødelægge skumplasten. Derudover kan der forekomme korrosion ved inderrøret.
Fra patentansøgning nr. 5385/79 kendes en fremgangsmåde til forbindelse af varmeisolerede ledningsrør. Ved forbindelses-stedet er yderkappen over isoleringslaget af det varmeisole-30 rede ledningsrør fjernet, og over forbindelsesstedet lægges et opslidset formstoftrør, således at det sidder på isoleringslaget og berører enderne af kapperørene. Dette opslidsede rør bliver nøjagtigt tilpasset og danner, uden ændring af den ydre diameter af ledningsrøret, en fortsættelse af 35 yderkappen, når enderne af formstofrøret er svejst til en- 2 DK 171835 B1 derne af yderkappen, og den langsgående slids er svejst. Ved denne sammenføjningsmetode kan der opstå visse problemer. Yderkapperne af de rør, der skal sammensvejses, er ofte en smule ovale, og yderdiameteren vil derfor kunne variere en 5 smule. Derved kan man risikere, at formstofrøret ikke lader sig tilpasse til den ovale form af yderkappen. Endvidere kan man risikere, at den langsgående slids af røret ikke slutter.
Der er derfor risiko for utætheder. Toleranceproblemer kan således bevirke, at den kendte muffeforbindelse ikke bliver 10 helt tæt.
Endvidere kendes fra schweizisk patentskrift nr. 585.367 en fremgangsmåde til sammenføjning af kapperør, idet man lukker mellemrummene mellem yderrørerne ved hjælp af en muffe. Også her er der tale om at nogle diametre nøje skal passe sammen, 15 hvis den ønskede tæthed skal kunne opnås.
Formålet med opfindelsen er at anvise en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en muffeforbindelse, som ikke har de nævnte toleranceproblemer og er helt tæt og desuden vil kunne tilvejebringes ved hjælp af et forholdsvis lille strømforbrug.
20 En fremgangsmåde af den indledningsvis nævnte art er ifølge opfindelsen ejendommelig ved, at man ud fra et plastbånd former muffen over forbindelsesstedet, således at plastbåndet med sine langsgående kanter ligger på yderlagene af de tilstødende rør og med de tværgående kanter overlapper. Derved 25 opnås en muffeforbindelse, der ikke har de nævnte toleranceproblemer og er fuldstændig tæt, og som desuden vil kunne tilvejebringes ved hjælp af et forholdsvis lille strømforbrug som følge af, at der kun skal opvarmes i overlapningsområderne .
30 Fremdeles kan der ifølge opfindelsen i randområdet af plast-båndet være indsmeltet en meanderformet metaltråd.
Opfindelsen skal nærmere forklares i det følgende under hen- 3 DK 171835 B1 visning til tegningen, hvor
Fig. 1 viser et plastbånd til udøvelse af fremgangsmåden til fremstilling af en muffeforbindelse til varmeisolerede ledningsrør, 5 fig. 2 muffeforbindelsen set i snit, og fig. 3 muffeforbindelsen set fra siden.
Fig. 1 viser et plastbånd 1 til fremstilling af en muffeforbindelse. I randområdet af plastbåndet 1 er indsmeltet et varmebånd eller en varmetråd 2. Plastbåndet 1 kan bestå af 10 polyethylen og have en tykkelse på f.eks. 4 mm. Varmetråden 2 opvarmes ved, at enderne 3, 4 tilsluttes til en strømkilde. Under opvarmningen blødgøres plastmaterialet 1 i nærheden af tråden 2, hvorved det bliver svejsbart.
I fig. 2 ses et snit gennem en muffeforbindelse til varmeiso-15 lerede ledningsrør. I midten af ledningsrøret ses et medieførende inderrør 5, der fortrinsvis udgøres af stål. Inderrøret 5 er omgivet af et lag 6 af opskummet plast, fortrinsvis po-lyurethan. Den omskummede plast er igen omgivet af en yderkappe 7, som er af plast. På yderkappen 7 ligger plastbåndet 20 1 med overlapning i området 8. Ved hjælp af en rundtgående manchet 9 presses plastbåndet 1 mod yderkappen 7. Derved sker der samtidigt en sammentrykning af plastbåndet 1 i overlapningsområdet 8. En skruetvinge bestående af en skruespindel 15 og to spændbakker 11, 12 griber ved nogle bagkanter 13, 14 25 af manchetten 9 og spænder denne mod plastbåndet 1. Spænd-bakkerne 11 og 12 føres derved mod hinanden. Når plastbåndet 1 er fastspændt, tilsluttes strømkilden til varmetråden 2, hvorved materialet af plastbåndet 1 bliver svejsbart. Når svejsningen er udført, fjernes manchetten 9 fra muffeforbin-30 delsen.
Fig. 3 viser den færdige muffeforbindelse, ved hvilken plast- 4 DK 171835 B1 båndet 1 er lagt om yderkapperne 7 og er svejst i områderne af de de skraverede flader med yderkapperne 7 og i overlapningsområdet 8.
En åbning i plastbåndet 1 tjener til udfyldning af mellemrum-5 met mellem inderrøret 5 og plastbåndet 1 med skumstof. Denne åbning kan derefter tætnes ved påføring af en plastskive, der vil kunne svejses til plastbåndet 1.
