Opfindelsen angår et stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale af den art, der er anført i krav l's indledning og en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af dette.
Køleskabe og frysere, vaskemaskiner og lignende prismatiske 5 varer skades ofte under transport fra fremstilleren til brugeren. Selvom varerne er vel emballeret kan stød og sammenstød med andre genstande rive eller deformere emballagen.
Det er opfindelsens formål at tilvejebringe et stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale, der kan påføres langs hjørnedele 10 af varen. Dette giver en beskyttelse ikke alene af selve hjørnet, men sidefladerne mellem to hjørneemballagestrenge vil også blive holdt en vis afstand fra andre genstande.
Et yderligere formål med opfindelsen er at tilvejebringe en teknik, der giver en optimal transport- og lagerbeskyttelse af 15 produkter, der er emballeret i et emballeringsmateriale, der har forud formede hulrum af individuelt varierende størrelse og form.
Et andet formål med opfindelsen er at tilvejebringe en effektiv fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af emballeringsmateriale.
20 Fra emballeringsteknik inden for elektronikindustrien kendes der baner, hvori der er udformet små (i størrelsen fra 10 til 20 mm) kugler fyldt med luft og anbragt i et tæt mønster kugle mod kugle. Sådanne emballager giver stødabsorbering i kombination med en ydre beskyttende pakning, almindeligvis en karton-25 æske. Ark af emballegeringsmaterialet anbringes enkelt langs æskens plane indersider.
Fra FR-A-22 57 501 kendes et stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale omfattende to fleksible baner, der er forbundet med hinanden til dannelse af mindst to langsgående rækker af gas-30 fyldte puder med vilkårlig form og størrelse og et herimellem liggende langsgående område. Såfremt en af puderne i dette em- DK 167249 B1 2 balleringsmateriale punkteres, vil luften sive ud og herved vil de stødabsorberende egenskaber naturligvis gå tabt. Skriftet viser endvidere en teknik, som gør brug af aflange opblæste luftfyldte tilnærmelsesvis cylindriske hulrum mellem et 5 par fleksible baner. US-A-35 75 781 viser et baneformet stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale, hvori der er termoformet fremspring, som er forsynet med et antal facetter med samme størrelse, og hvorimellem der er højderygge, som tjener til at fordele enhver 15 stødkraft. På grund af banematerialets stivhed må der dannes yderligere fremspring mellem hovedfremspringene med henblik på at forøge banens fleksibilitet.
Med henblik på at afhjælpe ulemperne ved kendt teknik er emballeringsmaterialet ifølge opfindelsen ejendommelig ved de i 20 krav 1 anførte kendetegnende træk og fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen til fremstilling af dette ejendommelig ved de i krav 2 anførte kendetegnende træk.
For at sikre den beskyttende funktion af puderne blæses en gas, fortrinsvis luft, ind mellem banerne umiddelbart før for-25 eningen eller svejsningen af hver enkelt termoformede fordybning færdiggøres.
Opfindelsen har yderligere til formål af angive en anvendelse af emballeringsmaterialet.
En vare, f.eks. en fryser, overføres fra en emballeringsstati-30 on på en træpalle og beskyttes ved hjælp af en papemballage og/eller trærammer. Et stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale ifølge opfindelsen påføres i det mindste langs de lodrette DK 167249 B1 3 hjørnedele. 5 Opfindelsen forklares i det følgende nærmere under henvisning til tegningen, på hvilken fig. 1 skematisk viser en fryser, der emballeres ved hjælp af hjørnebeskyttelsesorganer ifølge opfindelsen, fig. 2 en del af et emballagebånd ifølge opfindelsen, 10 fig. 3 et snit gennem båndet, men med de langsgående dele af dette foldet 90° i forhold til hinanden, fig. 4 yderst skematisk fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af emballagebåndet , fig. 5 et snit i fig. 4, 15 fig. 6 set fra oven den side af båndet, der har specielle puder ifølge en anden udførelsesform, fig. 7 et snit langs linien VII-VII i fig. 6, og fig. 8 et snit langs den brudte linie VIII-VIII.
I fig. 1 betegner henvisningsbetegnelsen 10 en vilkårlig, 20 prismatisk varer, f.eks. en fryser, der skal emballeres og transporteres stående på en palle 11. Fryseren kan på traditionel måde være emballeret ved hjælp af bølgepap.
For at beskytte fryseren effektivt under transport fastgøres bånd af under tryk stående, termoformede puder langs fryserens 25 lodrette hjørnedele. Lignende bånd kan eventuelt fastgøres langs de øvre vandrette hjørnedele.

Som det bedst fremgår af fig. 2 omfatter hvert bånd 12 to rækker 13 af puder 14, der har f irsidet grundrids form. Rækkerne af puder er adskilt af en massiv strimmel 15, der er bred nok til at tillade foldning af båndet således, at rækkerne af pu-5 der placeres 90° i forhold til hinanden som vist i fig. 3.
Båndene 12 kan være limet til bølgepapemballagen. I det tilfælde, hvor emballagen er forstærket ved hjælp af trærammer, kan båndene hæftes hertil, hvilket bedst udføres ved hjælp af en robot.
10 Endelig kan hele enheden være indesluttet i krympeplast, der efter opvarmning strammer de adskilte elementer til en enhed og danner en forstærket transportbeskyttelse.
Fremstillingen af bånd udføres som vist skematisk i fig. 4, hvor der grundlæggende vises en termoformende maskine, der 15 arbejder ud fra et par ruller, der bærer baner af termof ormbart materiale.
To baner 16, 17 af plasten LD-polyethylen, rulles af rullerne 18, 19 og transporteres som helhed i en vandret retning forbi stationer til termoformning af fordybninger, der danner blærer 20 efter at være forseglet til den anden bane. Fordybningerne har en formstabil fom, også når blærerne ikke er under tryk. I en udførelsesform gives blærerne en firsidet grundplanform og anbringes således, at de dækker en væsentlig del af båndets overflade kun omgivet af de nødvendige svejsesømme.
25 For at give puderne en tilstrækkelig dybde og forud fastlagte sideværts dimensioner til den påtænkte stødabsorberingsfunktion, termof ormes blærerne permanent med et minimum af mekanisk hukommelse ud fra i det mindste én af banerne.
Ved 20 er der vist en station til dannelse af fordybninger 21 30 ved termoformning, dvs. en vis del af strimlens materiale opvarmes og suges og/eller presses ind i en fom.

De to bånd 16, 17 bringes derefter til at passere en forseglingsstation 22 til langsgående svejsning af banerne 16, 17 .
Stationen 22 kan på i og for sig kendt måde omfatte det tradi-5 tionelle varmeforseglingsudstyr eller opvarmede hjul 23 til svejsning af banerne langs de ydre langsgående kanter samt mellem fordybningerne eller blærerne 21, således at der opnås en langstrakt strimmel til foldning af banerne.
Gas, fortrinsvis luft, blæses ind imellem båndene 16, 17 fra 10 en kilde for trykluft 24 umiddelbart før svejsestationen 22, således at fordybningerne, der dækkes af den anden bane, sikkert sættes under tryk af gassen, før de forsegles til puder 14, hvilket sker i svejsestationen 25, hvor opvarmede kæber virker i tværgående retning mellem blærerne 21.
15 Båndet, der er fremstillet på den beskrevne måde, kan opvikles eller foldes i et lager, fra hvilket det kan udtages efter ønske, men naturligvis kan maskinen også fungere intermitterende og fremstille bånd efter ønske og føre sådanne ud fra maskinen i ønskede forud fastlagte længder.
20 De to rækker af gasfyldte, under tryk stående puder i udførelsesformen ifølge fig. 1-5 med en kvadratisk/rektangulær grundform yder en udmærket beskyttelse af hjørnedele såvel som af overfladen mellem disse. Eventuelt kan begge baner forsynes med blærer, og fastgørelsen til genstanden, der skal transpor-25 teres, kan udføres på forskellige måder. Den nedre bane 17 kan, når den ikke har nogen blærer, f.eks. være forsynet med et lag lim dækket af en aftagelig beskyttelsesfilm.
I fig. 8 er der vist et værktøj til anvendelse i en konventionel termoformningsmaskine til formning af "blærer" eller 30 fordybninger af grundlæggende to forskellige typer (eller alternativt kan fig. 8 siges at repræsentere et afskåret stykke
Claims (4)
1. Stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale omfattende to flek-25 sible baner (16, 17), der er sammenføjet til dannelse af mindst to langsgående rækker (13) af gasfyldte puder (14) af vilkårlig form og størrelse med et herimellem liggende langsgående område (15), som i tværgående retning har tilstrækkelig udstrækning til at tillade en foldning langs dette, kende-30 tegnet ved, at den ene bane (16) er termoformet og har DK 167249 B1 7 permanent tildannede formstabile fordybninger (21), som med den anden fleksible bane (17) danner puderne (14).
2. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved 5 tilvejebringelse af en første langsgående fleksibel bane (16), tilvejebringe en anden langsgående fleksibel bane (17) , permanent termoforme den første langsgående fleksible bane (16) til tilvejebringelse af en første og en anden langsgående række af formstabile fordybninger, sætte den første og anden 10 langsgående række (13) af termoformede fordybninger (21) under tryk ved at blæse en gas ind i fordybningerne (21) og forbinde den første og anden langsgående bane med hinanden i det mindste langs perimeteren af den første og anden langsgående række af termoformede fordybninger og ved det mellemliggende langs-15 gående område (15), hvilket mellemliggende langsgående område (15) har en tilstrækkelig tværdimension til at tillade, at det stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale kan foldes langs dette.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, kendetegnet ved, at gassen, fortrinsvis luft, blæses ind mellem banerne (16, 17) 20 umiddelbart før foreningen eller svejsningen af de enkelte fordybninger fuldføres.
4. Anvendelse af et stødabsorberende emballeringsmateriale ifølge krav l, kendetegnet ved, at et emballerings-bånd påføres på mindst én lodret hjørnedel af prismatisk tran- 25 sportgods (10).
