DK 153 740 B
Opfindelsen angår et inhaleringsapparat med en forstøverplade som svingningerne fra et piezoelektrisk svingningssystem overføres til.
Væskeforstøvere med hvilke der kan fremstilles 5 inhalerbare aerosoler af lægemiddelholdige opløsninger er kendte fra de tyske patentansøgninger P 20 32 433, P 23 08 584, P 24 45 791, P 25 37 765 og P 26 37 162.
Ved disse apparater overføres et piezoelektrisk svingningssystems svingninger til en forstøverplade. Af den 10 tilførte væske fremstiller forstøverpladen fine små-dråber, der sammen med luften danner en aerosol.
Ved anvendelsen af inhaleringspræparatet mod bronchospasmolyse er det væsentligt, at en tilstrækkelig del af aerosolens smådråber er små nok, til med ind-15 åndingsluften at blive transporteret til virkningsstedet i lungerne. Er smådråberne for store udfældes de allerede i munden eller de øvre luftveje. Den tilstræbte virkning opnås da ikke eller ikke i tilstrækkelig grad. En ulempe ved de kendte væskeforstøvere er, at de 20 giver en for høj andel af relativt store smådråber.
Inhaleringsapparatet ifølge opfindelsen er ejendommeligt ved, at forstøverpladens arbejdsoverflade er overtrukket med et tyndt elastomerlag.
Det har herved overraskende vist sig, at den nævn-25 te ulempe mindskes, og at der opnås en væsentlig forbedring af størrelsesspektret i den fremstillede aerosol.
Elastomerlagets tykkelse ligger mellem 50 og 500 tøm, fortrinsvis mellem 100 og 300 tøm.
Forstøverpladen består fortrinsvis af et metal 30 med egnede fysiske og kemiske egenskaber især rustfrit stål. Til belægningen egner sig de mest forskellige elastomere. De påføres overfladen f.eks. i form af koncentrerede polymeropløsninger, hvorfra opløsningsmidlet fjernes ved fordampning, eller ved polymerisation af mo-35 nomere eller præpolymere. Ved anvendelse af polyuretha-ner, der dannes på overfladen er - udover rensning af 2

forstøverpladen - ingen forbehandling nødvendig. Påføres andre elastomere kan forbehandling af arbejds-fladen med en primer forbedre bindingen elastomer/me-tal.
5 Belægningen af en forstøverplade af rustfrit stål (ifølge DE-OS 2 308 584) er beskrevet i det følgende eksempel:

Arbejdsfladen på forstøverpladen i et inhaleringsapparat ifølge DE-OS 2 308 584 renses med methylen-chlorid. På arbejdsfladen anbringes 50 mg af en fugtig-hedshærdende førstetrins polyurethan (50%ig opløsning af di-isocyanatphenylmethan og en polyvalent polyether-1ir alkohol i vandfrit toluen indstillet til en viskositet

på 23 Poise). Ved horisontal placering af forstøverpladen fordeler blandingen sig således henover arbejdsfladen, at der opstår et ensartet lag. Hærdningsprocessen er afsluttet efter 24 timer (ca. 18°C, 50% relativ 2Q luftfugtighed). Der fremkommer en film med 200 ym lagtykkelse, en brudforlængelse på 340% og en trækstyrke på 0,35 kg.
Ved anvendelse af det på denne måde belagte indhaleringsapparat blev der med en dosis på 200yg feno-25 terol ved hundeforsøg (acetylcholin-bronchospasmus) opnået en ligeså god virkning, som med en i handlen værende drivgasdreven doseraerosol og ved samme dosis per aktivering.
Ved anvendelse af apparatet ifølge DE-OS 2 308 3Q 584, viste der sig derimod ved sammenligningsforsøg ingen virkning.
Claims (3)
1. Inhaleringsapparat med en forstøverplade som svingningerne fra et piezoelektrisk svingningssystem overføres til, kendetegnet ved, at forstøverpladens arbejdsflade er overtrukket med et tyndt ela- 5 stomerlag.
2. Inhaleringsapparat ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at elastomerlaget på arbejdsfladen har en tykkelse på 50 til 500 ym, fortrinsvis fra 100 til 300 ym.
3. Inhaleringsapparat ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved, at elastomerlaget består af en polyurethan.
