Description
Es wurde gefunden, daß als Schmiermittel auf
synthetischer Basis an sich bekannte Polyester, Polyäther oder Polyesteräther hervorragend zum
Schmieren von mit Difluormonochlormethan betriebenen Kälteanlagen geeignet sind.
Von den Polyestern kommen vor allem diejenigen in Betracht, die keinen wesentlichen Gehalt
an freien Hydroxylgruppen besitzen, d. h. insbesondere Verbindungen, wie sie durch Umsetzung
ίο von mehrwertigen Alkoholen mit Dicarbonsäuren
im Unterschuß und anschließende Veresterung mit Monocarbonsäuren erhältlich sind; geeignete Polyäther
und Polyesteräther sind in der französischen Patentschrift 898 269 sowie in den bekanntgemachten
Unterlagen der deutschen Patentschrift 883 506 vorbeschrieben. Auch die in der britischen
Patentschrift 662 650 vorbeschriebenen Esteröle sind für die hier vorgeschlagene Verwendung
brauchbar.
Von den erwähnten Typen seien als spezielle Vertreter beispielsweise folgende öle genannt: die
Polyester, die durch Umsetzung eines Gemisches aus 2 Mol Butylenglykol-i, 3 und 1 Mol Äthylenglykol
mit einem Gemisch aus 1 Mol Adipinsäure und ι Mol Bernsteinsäure und durch anschließende
Veresterung der verbliebenen Hydroxylgruppen mit Buttersäure erhältlich sind, ferner die Polyäther
bzw. Polyesteräther, die gemäß den Beispielen 2, 3, 4 und 5 der deutschen Patentschrift
883 506 herstellbar sind.
Die Benutzung der vorgeschlagenen Schmiermittel in den erfindungsgemäß in Betracht
kommenden, an sich bekannten Kälteanlagen kann in der üblichen Weise erfolgen, in der auch sonst
Schmiermittel in analogen Fällen verwendet werden.
Gegenüber den bislang für den gleichen Zweck benutzten Schmiermitteln auf der Grundlage von
Mineralölen zeichnen sich die vorgeschlagenen Schmiermittel vor allem dadurch aus, daß sie sich
in dem als Kältemittel dienenden Difluormonochlormethan bei den in Frage kommenden Arbeitstemperaturen
im Verdampfer nicht abscheiden.
