Claims

I * &bgr; CLAIMS

1. Luminaire with at least one single-ended fluorescent lamp (27, 28), with a luminaire housing (10) which has a luminaire base (11) and a receiving space (14) for auxiliary devices (15, 16), and with a lamp holder for each fluorescent lamp fastened to the luminaire base (11),

characterized in that a reflector (21) is attached to the lamp base (11), which has a hood (29) concealing the lamp holder for each lamp (27, 28).

2. - Lamp according to claim 1, characterized in that the reflector (21) is attached to the lamp base (11) with a sliding closure (32) such that the reflector (21) attached to the lamp base (11) reaches a locking position by linear displacement in the longitudinal direction of the lamps (27, 28).

Lamp according to claim 2, characterized in that the sliding closure (32) consists of a T-piece (33) provided on the reflector (21) or on the lamp base (11), the head of which can be inserted into a recess (35) provided on the other part and the web of which can be moved into a slot (36) extending at right angles from the recess (35).

4. Lamp according to claim 3/ characterized in that the recess (35) runs transversely and the slot (36) runs lengthways to the lamp (27, 28).

5. Lamp according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterized in that cooperating guide means (34, 37) are provided on both sides of the sliding closure (32) on the lamp base (11) and on the reflector (21).

6. Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a clamping and centering device (38) is provided on the reflector (21) which engages between the tubes (31a, 31b) of the U-shaped lamp (28).

7. Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that brackets (25) are attached to the lamp base (11), which protrude obliquely outwards into the receiving space (14) and carry the auxiliary devices (15, 16).

8. Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the reflector (21) is plate-shaped and has an edge (23) to which the edge (20) of a lamp grid arranged in the light exit opening

9. Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the lamp housing (10) and reflector (21) are circular.
