Bei einer solchen Bauweise einer Kaffeemühle erreicht man, daß der Motor praktisch vollkommen gegen Kaffeestaub geschützt ist, da die im Vorratsbehälter befindlichen Kaffeebohnen als Filter wirken und von unten aufsteigenden Kaffeestaub auffangen. Der so aufgefangene Kaffeestaub wird während des Mahlens immer wieder aus dem den Antriebsmotor enthaltenden Vorratsbehälter während des Mahlens hinausgeführt. Wenn der Antriebsmotor gekapselt ausgeführt wird, erzielt man so einen vollständigen Schutz des Motors gegen Betriebsstörungen verursachende Verunreinigungen jeder Art.
