Description

  • Form zur Herstellung von Hohlfelgen aus wärmehärtbarem Kunstharz und Radfelge Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Form zur Herstellung von Hohlfelgen aus wärmehärtbarem Kunstharz zur Aufnahme eines elastischen Luft-oder Vollreifens für Fahrräder, Kinderwagen o. dgl.
  • Es ist bereits bekannt, zur Herstellung von (;egenständen eine Kunstharzmischung, gegebenenfalls mit textilen Verstärkungseinlagen, in Formen zu pressen. Zur Herstellung von Löchern ist die .nwendung von Kernen nicht mehr neu.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine zur Herstellung von Hohlfelgen geeignete Form auszubilden, die nach der Beendigung des Formvorganges leicht wieder abgenommen werden kann.
  • Zu diesenl Zweck besteht der Umfangsteil der Form aus einem biegsamen Ring, dessen Querschnitt auf der Innenseite die Gestalt des Hohlprofils der Felge aufweist, und an dem abnehmbare oder nicht abnehmbare Vorsprünge oder Kerne befestigt sind, die beim Formen der Felge in üblicher Weise die zur Aufnahme der Speichen dienenden Löcher bilden sollen, wenn es sich um Fahrradräder o. dgl. handelt.
  • Diese Löcher besitzen vorzugsweise einen kugelförmigen Boden, der den Köpfen der Befestigungsmuttern der Speichen bei jeder Neigung der letzteren eine gute Stützfläche bietet.
  • Der Ring ist an einer oder an mehreren Stellen des Umfanges geteilt, um von der Felge abgenommen werden zu können. Das Abnehmen kann von Hand oder mechanisch geschehen und wird durch die Federung des Ringes erleichtert, wenn der Krümmungsradius in der Nichtgebrauchslage größer ist, als wenn der Ring um den mittleren Teil der Form gespannt ist.
  • Zum leichten mechanischen Abnehmen des Formringes trotz des Anhaftens, das sich aus der Beschaffenheit des vorübergehend plastischen Werkstoffes und dem Eindringen der Kerne in diesen Werkstoff ergeben kann, besteht die Vorrichtung aus einem Halter, der die geformte Felge und den diese umgebenden Ring sowie einen Hebel aufnimmt, der gelenkig an einem Arm angreift, welcher selbst in der Mitte des Halters gelagert ist.
  • Auf dem Hebel ist eine Rolle derart gelagert, daß sie von innen nach außen gegen den auf einer Seite der Felge vorstehenden Rand des Ringes gedrückt werden kann. Es genügt, den Hebel derart zu schwenken, daß die Rolle sich auf dem Rand des Ringes mit einem genügenden Druck abwälzt, um diesen Ring von der Felge abzuheben.
  • Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht beispielsweise eine Ausführung der Form und der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung zum Entformen, und zwar stellen dar: Fig. 1 einen lotrechten Teilschnitt durch die Form, Fig. 2 schaubildlich ein Stück des Formringes, Fig. 3 einen lotrechten Schnitt durch die Vorrichtung zum Abnehmen des Formringes von der Felge, Fig. 4 eine Draufsicht dieser Vorrichtung, Fig. 5 und 6 jeweils eine Ansicht auf den äußeren Umfang und einen Querschnitt einer anderen Ausführung der Felge gemäß der Erfindung.
  • Die Form besteht aus zwei mittleren Teilen I und 2, von denen der eine axial verschiebbar ist.
  • Beide Teile sind derart ausgebildet, daß sie zusammen einen ringförmigen Raum bilden, der dem Profil der Hohl felge 3 und demjenigen des Formringes 4 entspricht.
  • Dieser Formring, der z. B. aus Stahl besteht, ist durch einen oder mehrere Schlitze 5 (Fig. 2 und 4) geteilt. Im freien Zustand hat er vorzugsweise das Bestreben, sich selbsttätig zu öffnen. Die Enden werden miteinander in Berührung gehalten, wenn der Ring in den Teil I der Form eingesetzt ist.
  • Zur Herstellung der zur Befestigung der Radspeichen dienenden Löcher in der geformten Felge sind am Formring 4 in bestimmten Abständen Kerne 6 befestigt. Diese Kerne sind mit einem kugelfirmigen Schulteransatz 6« versehen, die auf dem Boden der Löcher kugelförmige Stützflächen für die Speichenmuttern bilden, die von außen in die von den Kernen gebildeten Löcher der Felge eingesetzt werden. Ein weiterer Kern 7 ist zur Herstellung des Loches für den Durchgang des \'ventils des Luftschlauches vorgesehen. Die Kerne bestehen vorzugsweise aus Schrauben, deren Spitze die Gestalt der herzustellenden Löcher hat und deren Kopf in den äußeren Umfang des Formringes eingelassen ist.
  • Letzterer ist mit Flanschen 8 versehen, die sich über die Seitenränder der Felge hinaus erstrecken und in entsprechende Aussparungen der Formteile I und 2 eingreifen.
  • Das zu formende Kunstharz ist gegebenenfalls mit einem Bindemittel, Farb- und Faserstoffen oder sonstigen Füllstoffen gemischt. Dieser Werkstoff wird in Gestalt eines Pulvers bei abgenommenem Oberteil 2 in den Unterteil I der Form eingebracht. Er kann auch unter Druck in den Ringraum zwischen den beiden Teilen I und 2 eingespritzt werden.
  • Nach dem Formen unter Druck und dem Erhärten der Kunstharzmischung wird der Formring 4 mit der geformten Felge 3 aus der Form gehoben.
  • Zum leichten Trennen dieser beiden Teile bringt man das Ganze auf einen kreisförmigen Halter 9 (Fig. 3 und 4), dessen Umfang derart ausgebildet ist, daß die Unterseite des Ringes und der Felge sich diesem Halter genau anpassen, wogegen der obere Flansch 8 des Formringes über den Halter vorsteht. In der Mitte dieses letzteren ist der Drehzapfen 10 eines Armes II vorgesehen, an dem ein Hebel I2 gelenkig angreift. An diesem Hebel ist eine Rolle I3 gelagert, die sich in geringer Höhe über dem Halter 9 lose drehen und deren Umfang von innen nach außen gegen den vorstehenden Flansch 8 des Formringes 4 gedrückt werden kann.
  • Durch Abwälzen der Rolle auf der Innenseite des Formringes kann dieser leicht von der Felge 3 getrennt werden, die am Halter g festsitzen bleibt.
  • Dieser kann feststehen, er ist aber vorzugsweise drehbar auf einem feststehenden Gestell 14 gelagert, damit der Bedienende den Halter g nicht zu umgehen hat.
  • Beim Einbringen der Kunstharzmischung in die Form kann man in diesen Werkstoff ein gewebtes oder geflochtenes Band mit breiten Maschen, wie an sich bekannt, oder auch ein wabenförmiges Band aus einem Faserstoff, insbesondere aber aus Polyamiden, einbetten. Das Band kann beispielsweise einen flachgedrückten Rohrquerschnitt haben und ist dem Durchmesser der Felge entsprechend geschlossen.
  • Bei der Ausführung gemäß den Fig. 5 und 6, die als Felge für ein Fahrrad mit Luftschläuchen dienen soll, also leicht und trotzdem starr und fest sein muß, und zu diesem Zweck aus einer geformten Werkstoffschicht von nur einigen Millimetern besteht, sind mehrere Rippen 29 vorgesehen, die durch den Boden 30 miteinander zusammenhängen. Nur das Loch 22 mit seinem kugeligen Boden 23 befindet sich in einem vollen Teil 3I. Die Rippen bieten ferner den Vorteil, daß sie das Haften des Luftschlauches verbessern, weil dieser dann zwischen die Rippen greift.
  • Man kann auf diese Weise mit wenigen Kosten eine Felge herstellen, die sofort zur Aufnahme der Radspeichen für die Verbindung mit der Radnabe dienen kann. Diese Felge gestattet ebenfalls mit sehr geringer Handarbeit die Herstellung eines Rades für Fahrräder, dem die bekannten Nach- teile der Holzfelgen und der Metallfelgen nicht anllaften.
  • PhTENTANSPROCHE: 1. Form zur Herstellung von Hohlfelgen aus wiirmehärtbarem Kunstharz zur Aufnahme einer elastischen Bereifung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Umfangsteil dieser Form aus einem biegsamen Formring (4) besteht, dessen Querschnitt auf der Innenseite die Gestalt des Hohlprofils der Felge aufweist und daß dieser Formring durch einen Hebel (12) 0. dgl. von innen nach außen gedrückt und dadurch von der Felge abgehoben wird.
  • Form nach Anspruch I mit Kernen zur Herstellung von gelochten Felgen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die in der Umfangsrichtung am Formring angebrachten Kerne (6) mit einem kugeligen Schulteransatz (6a) versehen sind.

Claims (1)

  1. 3. Radfelge aus wärmehärtbarem Kunstharz mit einem Hohlprofil zur Aufnahme eines elastischen Radreifens, hergestellt mit einer Form nach Anspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie mit Löchern zur Aufnahme der Befestigungsmuttern der Radspeichen versehen ist, die eine kugelförmige Stützfläche haben.
    4. Radfelge nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie Längsrippen (29) aufweist, die am Boden (30) miteinander verbunden sind.
