Description
Process for the production of crimped rayon threads in spinning pot spinning The subject of patent 654 Soo is a method of making crimped Rayon threads in the spinning pot spinning, which consists in the fact that the thread of a point eccentrically to the axis line of the spinning pot into the spinning pot is introduced.
It has now been found that the crimp, in particular with regard to its durability, can be improved if threads are fixed in the most plastic state possible, i.e. still little fixed (which is achieved by appropriate composition and ripening of the viscose as well as setting the acid content and temperature of the spinning bath in known way can be achieved), the crimping process according to the main patent 654 Soo and then these threads before further treatment first in an acidic bath, the z. B. contains 5 to 7 % of the sulfuric acid, post-fixed.
It is already known, not yet or only imperfectly fixed Fibers by treating them in a fixer and then drying them in curled "state. However, this is about the fibers from the simple, smooth shape to the ruffled one, with the drying process the decisive effect falls on. There is a curl of the smooth fiber, so a real curling process takes place. But this is the case with the present one Invention no longer considered at all, since the threads are already in a according to the process of the main patent produced perfectly curled shape and therefore do not require any further changes in shape. Under the terms of the procedure of the present invention, incidentally, there is a subsequent drying at all does not matter much, the fixer only causes a solidification of the already existing curling shape.
The technical progress and the surprising effect of the new one Method consist in making the crimp more permanent and the crimped thread mass becomes more elastic and wool-like. This effect is evidently the fixing influence of the acid bath to the inner colloidal structure of the thread structure.
