Wqschekochkessel mit einem Vorwärmkessel mit Bodenventil sind an sich
nicht neu. Den bekannten Wäschekochkesseln dieser Art haftet aber der Nachteil an,
daß das Ventil durch eine einiache, durch ein Loch der Kesselwand geführte Kette
zu öffnen ist, die während der ganzen Zeit des Wasserablaufs mit der Hand festgehalten
werden muß. Die außen an der Kesselwand während des Kochens anliegende Kette wird
aber so heiß, daß sie mit der Hand nicht angefaßt werden kann; auch wird die Kette
in der Kesselwand klemmen. Diesen bekannten Vorwärmkesseln fehlt auch das Überlaufrohr,
und der Wasserverteiler liegt im Unterkessel; er muß also jedesmal zum Herausnehmen
und Einlegen der Wäsche herausgehoben werden, was auch nicht mit der Hand ohne Hilfsmittel
ausgeführt werden kann. Auch sind Wäschekochkessel mit im Vorwärmkessel angeordnetem
Bodenventil und Überlaufrohr an sich bekannt. Diesen fehlen aber die Einrichtun-en
zum Öffnen des Ventils von außen während des Kochens; es muß zu diesem Zweck jedAmal
der Deckel abgeftommen werden, und das heiße Rohr kann auch dann nicht mit der Hand
angefaßt werdeii. Auch fehlt diesen Wäschekochkesseln einVerteiler für (las ablaufende
Wasser. Wäschekochkessel mit einem am Boden des Verteilerkessels befestigten Wasserverteiler
sind an sich zwar auch bekannt, doch liegt dieser ungeschützt und kann überkochendes
Wasser nicht aufnehmen, weil ein Überlaufrohr nicht vorhanden ist. '

Damit das Überlatifrohr i nicht während der ganzen Ablaufzeit des Wassers mit der
Hand festgehalten werden muß, wird der Hebel 1 durch Einhängen des Ringes
n in den Haken o festgestellt, wodurch das Ventil in der geöffneten Stellung verbleibt.
Das Überlauf rohr i hat den Vorteil, daß im Vorwärnikessel aufsteigendes kochendes
Wasser nicht zwischen Kesselrand und Deckel entweicht, also nicht überkocht, sondern
auch bei... geschlossenem Ventil durch das Rohr i ..in-'den Unterkessel abläuft,
wodurch die Be-.1 sichtigung des Wäschekochkessels während der Arbeit sehr erleichtert
wird. Andererseits dient das Überlaufrohr i auch zum Abführen der im Kochkessel
