Verfahren zur Härtung von Kondensationsprodukten aus Phenolen und Aldehyden Die Erfindung betrifft den Zusatz gewisser hochsiedender Mittel bei Anwendung des Verfahrens des Hauptpatents, durch welche das Verfahren des Hauptpatents wesentlich erleichtert und auch die Produkte in verschiedener Hinsicht verbessert werden. Von solchen Zusätzen wurden folgende als besonders geeignet festgestellt: Mehrwertige Alkohole, z. B. Glykol, Glycerin, Sorbit usw., ferner deren Ester, insbesondere solche, in denen noch eine oder mehrere Hydroxylgruppen frei sind, wie z. B. Propionsäuremonoglycerinester, Diacetin usw., ferner Ätheralkohole derselben, wie z. B. Glycerinätheralkohol, Sorbitätheralkohol, Glucoseätheralkohol, endlich Äthylurethan, Acetanilid und andere Stoffe. Die Wirkung der genannten Stoffe besteht zum Teil wahrscheinlich darin, daß die nach dem Verfahren des Hauptpatents zugesetzten geringen Säuremengen während der Härtung nahezu vollständig verestert werden, so daß die Endprodukte weder hinsichtlich der Lichtbeständigkeit noch der' elektrischen Eigenschaften eine Beeinträchtigung gegenüber den neutralen oder alkalisch kondensierten Phenolharzen aufweisen; die Verarbeitung wird durch diese Zusätze gegenüber derjenigen der normalen, d. h. mit Säurezusatz und ohne verlangsamende Zusätze polymerisierten Produkte außerordentlich erleichtert, da man die Temperatur beim Walzen und Kneten infolge der verzögernden Wirkung der Zusätze nicht so genau einzuhalten braucht, wie es ohne diese Zusätze geschehen muß, um eine zu rasche Polymerisation und ein Unbrauchbarwerden der Masse zu verhüten.Process for hardening condensation products from phenols and Aldehydes The invention relates to the addition of certain high-boiling agents when used the process of the main patent, through which the process of the main patent becomes material and the products are also improved in various ways. from The following have been found to be particularly suitable for such additives: Polyvalent ones Alcohols e.g. B. glycol, glycerol, sorbitol, etc., also their esters, in particular those in which one or more hydroxyl groups are still free, such as.
