an Bauhölzern, verwendbar.
Schnitte an Balkenenden herzustellen.
Motor-driven hand chain saw The use of the toothed,
Link chains driven by a motor for making saw cuts
is known. The motor drives either directly or through a spur gear
the sprocket and sits on one side of the chain guide bar. Such devices
are only for making right-angled cuts, be it on logs, be it
on timber, usable. In carpentry, especially in manufacturing
of roof trusses etc., however, there is often the task of sloping and crooked
Make cuts at the ends of the joists. To do this it is necessary to cut the saw in all possible ways
Pivot layers to the wood, in such a way that always the chain hoist the device
brings up against a corresponding stop on the wood, the stop
must be arranged in such a way that adverse stresses during the sawing work
cannot occur. This is not possible with the known constructions,
because with oblique cuts the motor, which with its axis perpendicular to the chain guide
stands, is in the way and it is not permitted to move the chain guide into that position
bring that is necessary to make such cuts.
Now you probably have both the head of the chain guide on older hand chain saws
as well as the relevant part of the drive designed as an abutment and arcuate
designed, but this also makes the mentioned working option with the chainsaw possible
not yet achieved, because there is no such type of abutment for oblique cuts
sufficient hold so that it can withstand harmful side loads
the chainsaw and its bearings, is not possible to use the multiple bevels
Make cuts.
.According to the present invention, the aforementioned shortcomings are thereby overcome
eliminates that the two abutments, which each pull the chainsaw when sawing
must take up, arranged alternately and interlocked in steps. Through this
it is achieved that the hand chain saw always in both cutting directions without further ado
can be used and always a safe one in any inclined position
Hold the attacking abutment on the workpiece and still
the abutments can never have a disruptive effect during work. .
The invention is shown schematically in one embodiment in the drawing
Illustrates, namely Fig. i shows the new saw in view, Fig. 2 in plan view
in the case of a cut at right angles to the workpiece, Fig. 3 in the case of a sharp cut
Angle made bevel cut, Fig. ¢ a partial view and Fig. 5 with an im
bevel cut at an obtuse angle.
It can be seen from the drawing, the part a of the device, the
with a
Handle b provided electric motor c is seated and on which
the adjustable cutter holder d is arranged. The saw chain e runs over matching
Chainwheels on the one hand on the motor shaft f, on the other hand in the on the
Free end of the holder d arranged, provided with a handle g head h mounted
are. This head is designed such that it acts as a stop for receiving the when
Attack of the saw occurring tensile effect is used. In the same way, part a
of the electric motor designed as an abutment i, in such a way that both abutments
or attacks are directed to opposite sides. One can thus use the
Apparatus on both sides to attack and in any case has an immediate
next to the saw to attack the abutment, in one case the abutment
i, in the other case the abutment h comes into play. That is with oblique and
crooked cuts are absolutely necessary because this is the only way to
the unilaterally arranged motor in any case so that it is not bothersome
works. But that would be the case if one were to use the position of the saw according to Fig. 2 without
wanted to make the inclined cut according to Fig. 5. Like the dotted illustration
in this figure shows, the motor would then come to rest on the workpiece,
as a result of which tilting and sliding sideways would inevitably have to occur.
There is also the risk that the saw will jam and the cut will not be clean.
But if you turn the saw around, as shown in Fig. 5, then the other side comes up
to attack, and now the abutment h takes on the reaction effect. One can
thus easily pivot the device around as required and on both sides
saw with it. But also in the case of inclined and especially crooked cuts
To maintain a good and, above all, reliable system, both abutments or
Stops designed arcuately and also serrated in steps. This toothing
is directed so that it does not prevent the saw from moving forward during the cut
, but avoids sliding sideways or deviating at all costs.
The drawing shows how the new hand saw device can be straight and inclined
Cuts are handled; in the same way one can also skew and each
make any other type of saw cut.
I punktiert angedeutet ist.In order to have a stronger attack on the saw chains with the new chainsaw
to achieve, you can give the guide rail d a fish belly shape,
d. H. make them a little wider with slightly curved guide surfaces in the middle
than at the ends, as indicated by dotted lines in Fig. I.
