liefen beide Kühlmittelstrflme in innoren Kühlkanälen.
Mantel abgedeckt.Process for - cooling the recipients of lead cable crimps. The invention relates to a further development of the protected Patent 442 7 1 6 procedure, in which the serving for cooling of the receptacle means before it enters the internal cooling passages, is guided along the outer surface of the mantle and preheated in this way. The movement of the coolant along the outer surface of the jacket and then through the cooling channels takes place in cocurrent. According to the invention, this cooling method is now improved in that the movement of the coolant on the outer surface of the jacket and in the cooling channels does not take place in cocurrent but in countercurrent. The management of two coolant flows in countercurrent to one another has already been proposed earlier. In these older processes, both coolant flows ran in internal cooling channels. The process forming the subject of the invention consists in the application of this countercurrent principle to the process of the main patent. This achieves more uniform and faster cooling of the recipient than when the coolant is guided in cocurrent. The devices used to carry out the method can be of various types. So, z. B. the jacket surrounding the inner sleeve of a hollow jacket. be surrounded, which is connected to the coolant supply line at one end and to the cooling channels at the other, the coolant being supplied into the hollow jacket and then into the cooling channels at the opposite end of the recipient. Expediently, helically extending guide surfaces are provided in the hollow jacket for guiding the coolant. Instead of the hollow jacket, helically extending channels can also be provided on the surface of the jacket itself. In the latter case, these appropriately have a semicircular cross-section and are covered by a jacket surrounding the recipient.
