versinnbildlichen: OH CAOH NH2 OH / \ '\-SO#H HSOJ OH NH, Die Reaktion gibt
Bariumsalze in Lösung bleiben.
Kaliumsalze gewinnen.Process for the preparation of antbrachinone derivatives. If phenols, naphthols or anisoles are allowed to act on the boric acid ester of p-diaminoanthrarufin-2,6-disulphonic acid in concentrated sulfuric acid, new compounds with remarkable properties are formed even at ordinary temperature. These are apparently bodies that are formed by the addition of a molecule of phenol or anisole to a keto group. The compound formed from phenol can therefore be symbolized as follows: OH CAOH NH2 OH / \ '\ -SO # H HSOJ OH NH, The reaction is externally recognizable by the fact that the intense blue color of the solution of the boric acid ester upon addition of the phenol or anisole changes from brown-red to yellow-red, and that the characteristic absorption spectrum of the boric acid ester of diaminoanthrarufin disulfonic acid disappears. When a sample is poured into water, the blue solution of diaminoanthrarufin disulfonic acid is no longer obtained, but yellow solutions with a greenish to brownish tinge. The new substances are extremely easily soluble in water, and most of them cannot be separated out by salting out. They can, however, be obtained in solid form if the melt is diluted with glacial acetic acid, whereby it separates out as yellow to brownish precipitates, or by pouring the melt into water and neutralizing it with chalk or barium carbonate, etc., whereby the sulfuric acid and the like boric acid is precipitated as insoluble calcium salts, while the new compounds remain in solution as acidic calcium or barium salts. The new substances can be obtained in solid form by careful evaporation of these solutions. The salts of the alkaline earths can also be reacted with soda or potash in a known manner and the sodium or potassium salts can be obtained in this way.
Anisolen, Naphtholen usw. ähnliche Anlagerungsprodukte.Quite similarly to p-diaminoanthrarufin disulfonic acid, its N-methyl derivative, described in patent 443 585 , also forms similar addition products with phenols, anisoles, naphthols, etc.
Die neuen Stoffe sind als Farbstoffe verwendbar. Ferner lassen sich
aus ihnen neue, gewerblich wichtige Verbindungen herstellen. The new substances can be used as dyes. Furthermore,
make new, commercially important compounds from them.

2o Gewichtsteile p-Diaminoanthrarufin-2, 6-disulfosäure, werden mit
io Gewichtsteilen Borsäure zusammen in ioo Gewichtsteile Schwefelsäure

Man
Stehen rasch beim Erwärmen in Grünblau überzugehen.
Stoffe zeigen ganz ähnliche Eigenschaften.20 parts by weight of p-diaminoanthrarufin-2,6-disulfonic acid are added to 100 parts by weight of 96 percent sulfuric acid together with 10 parts by weight of boric acid and the solution is heated to 70 to 8o 'with thorough stirring until all of the diaminoanthrarufin disulfonic acid has dissolved as the boric acid ester . It is then cooled to 10 'and 10 parts by weight of powdered Phexiol are added with stirring, taking care that the temperature does not exceed?, 0'. As the phenol dissolves, the deep blue color of the melt changes to brown-red. 'When this no longer changes and spectroscopically no more unchanged Dianiinoanthrarufmälsulfosäure " Parts by weight of glacial acetic acid, taking care that the temperature does not initially rise above 9, o '. The addition product separates out as a brownish-yellow precipitate sulfuric acid freed and then as quickly dried. this gives a olivgelbes powder which is soluble in water very easily with a yellow color. the color is not cherry red to proceed rapidly on standing upon heating in Green Blue by sodium hydroxide solution. the solution in concentrated Sch # Vefelsäure is brownish-yellow. Boric acid does not change the solution at first, after standing for a while n it turns reddish brown. Unstained wool is initially dyed in yellow tones in an acid bath; when boiled for a longer period of time, the color changes through violet to blue. The addition products with resorcinol, catechol, anisole, naphthols, etc. The substances obtained show very similar properties.
